i Dont think it will be such popular as now becasue there are always people who want to invest into it and when it does not have a unstable value people cant invest into it anymore/
It would not be a very good investment opportunity and that would be a major issue but that isnt the big deal for some people so it would just be a small issue which would drive a lot off but also keep a lot on it. I would love to see btc at a stable price for a good month or two just to see how people would react. Yeah but i feel you long term investment is great but the building itself is the foundation of why a lot of us use btc, the extreme jumps and dives is what brings us all back to the moment we first liked deeply about finding btc. It would really change a lot of it. |

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Because the whole point of bitcoin is a system of government control and if bitcoin had a stable price then it would mean that bitcoin is basically controlled by the fiat system. so if it was it would just be really stupid. |

Interesting question and I am afraid there is no ideal and unanimous answer. Because:
From one point of view bitcoin's highly unstable nature is interesting for investors and speculators. Without this 'feature' I probably wouldn't hear about bitcoin myself.
But...
I heard many times that we are aiming for total adoption and adoption of bitcoin cannot happen without stability, or so they say.
And the most important auxiliary question is - how high should that stable bitcoin price be? $100, $500, $1000 or maybe even more?
At this point asking about BTC stability is pure speculation, because we have no regulation and no way of influence the price of bitcoin - and I doubt we will ever have.

I think just the opposite because the price of bitcoin that's fluctuation so make everyone is interested in investing in bitcoin if the price of bitcoin stable may bitcoin will not grow as big as this. |

I think just the opposite because the price of bitcoin that's fluctuation so make everyone is interested in investing in bitcoin if the price of bitcoin stable may bitcoin will not grow as big as this. Yeah bitcoin would def not grow to as big as it is not because the fluctuation gets everyone excited any everything. The major changes is what makes people money and making people money is what they want. |

True, many bitcoin users use bitcoin as investment because it's volatile price. If bitcoin has stable price, people wouldn't interested to it. Even that so, bitcoin's advantage is it's anonymous and fast transaction. People would still use it as payment method. |

Remember in Bitcoin economy there are several groups. And each person can belong to one or more of those group. Volatility attracts investors, risk takers and gamblers, while stable in price attracts merchants, users, less risk takers and gamblers. Please bear in mind that Bitcoin economy doesnt consist of investors only. Either way as long as Bitcoin is found useable and ahead of other competitor, interest will never cease. |

The higher the price the more people want it the lower the price the more experienced people want to buy it... It's all about the information we know and the basic people outside of btc want btc but they just dont know how to get into it BTC stable would not be as popular as fluctuation btc. |

The higher the price the more people want it the lower the price the more experienced people want to buy it... It's all about the information we know and the basic people outside of btc want btc but they just dont know how to get into it BTC stable would not be as popular as fluctuation btc. But what if price remains stable at $5k, do you still think that it won't be popular? I am not talking about the traders, but those who are earning bitcoins by campaign or faucets or by offering services, they will be very much satisfied to see that higher price. |

Most newcomers are just interested in bitcoin for speculative purposes, and it seems that most of them have put aside all considerations about the real value of bitcoin as an innovative way to carry out our financial transactions, and all the technological advances behind this useful possibility. These days the bitcoin interest is only focused in the making of money and profitability. |

I think if the price were more stable, it would be more popular as a form of payment for merchants and customers. However, I think it would be less popular for investors and traders.

I think Bitcoin will be more stable of it attains a stable price...but right now most of all holding bitcoin for a price increase in next 5-6 years....its quiet volatile now...not easy to predict...but i think stable bitcoin price will does not affect the popularity of bitcoin because it has other advantages as well
