Is this an auction or a new post?

Meaning, when is the end date?

Why not lower the starting bid. It has been for sale pretty long for this price.

It's a gorgeous coin. The crown jewel when it comes to physical bitcoins. The most desirable coin in the space.

I've sold couple of these for 19+ in the past.

I would say the 1000 BTC 1oz Gold Casascius is the most desirable coin. But then again each has their own opinion.

Nice coin. Surprising to me that ANACS put "2013" on the case, though I see that it was indeed funded in Feb 2013: http://www.spotcoins.com/bitcoin/casascius/address/1Ag7YNgLmrKgVrJLrhUHq2ct7Cfuw4UMmZ

Did you tell ANACS to put 2013 on it due to the funding date, or are they actually getting more sophisticated with Casascius coins?

Yeah, the funding date shouldn't matter, it's the date on the coin, right? Tongue

Usually.

Almost all of my 2011 brass was funded in 2012

Examples (not that any of these are mine):
Brass 2011 https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1Cau1egFww53cSNhQCfaEdBcpD55QempAM Funded 2012-06-28 21:44:30
Brass 2012 https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1CsSuvLcQXQmwdiq8vb2fG3bLYQhDrZPS4 Funded 2013-01-14 22:04:30
Silver 2013 https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1Ag6fkiFvcb94o7f5xFiLVJp6U5ugWZp68 Funded 2014-01-07 18:07:15

And the reverse for dating also exists:
Silver 2012 https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1K3BkL2RDqsp4nbfXAGCeq1Sjq9EFkJXh4 Funded 2011-12-05 16:52:34

Curious - when you had the coin graded, did you fill out "2013" on the ANACS grading sheet, or did you fill out "2012"?

That wouldn't matter.  If it did, I will start filling out GOLD 10BTC (even though it doesn't exist).  Or put in a date of 2017 or better yet, 2008.

All of the coins that I have ever had graded by ANACS have always had the year on the holder. I am kinda surprised this has even come up.
