Thank you for taking the time to enter our logo contest at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1460926.0;all.

We now want you to vote on the winning logo. The voting window will close exactly 24h from now.
Participation is limited to accounts that have been registered before the creation date of the original thread and that have a minimum activity of 60. One person, one vote. You participate by posting the # of the post that contains your favourite logo. Ids [56] are excluded from this vote due to a suspected violation of the requested license terms until proven that the re-used material was itself published in the public domain.

Votes that do not meet the requirements are deleted without comment.

No, I will not disclose my real name on the Internet. The very simple reason I’m anonymous is so that I can talk freely about a free web. One mistake people often make is having the faulty assumption that knowing my real name or my association with a respected person, group or organization might get them to trust me more. In fact, I have no authority here. Elastic Project is a loosely associated group of developers which constantly changes over time. If you prefer projects with a more centralized structure, then please move on. Specifically, I kindly ask you to refrain from any messages that try to convince me of the contrary. My time is too valuable to be wasted with the same discussion again and again.

I think OP that you should pick 4~5 logos you like the best,
place them here and than let us vote.
This way you will get better results, more valuable from the community.
I bet that almost no one (not a participant) will bother to scroll through 5pages of pictures just to pick something.
Self voting... that's sooo low...

It looks similar but it’s not the same thing. It just preserves the author's individual style and so I'd say that this is a legitimate submission.

That just like making 100 logos in your past time and whenever a new contest is announced, you simply change the base text's and fonts.Where are the efforts ? IMHO it is not worth the prize money.

I don't give two flying shits either way.I'm not a logo designer ,only fact is ,OP will end up paying his valuable money to some shitty copy pasted logo.

Well I personally don't like to do that as a designer, but there is nothing wrong with that anyway, as long as those was made by him and doesn't break the copyright rule.
I'm not defending this act, just giving my viewpoint Smiley

To be honest you wont be able to select the best logo by voting here, you are allowed to make unlimited accounts in this forums and most of them will have tons of accounts and so its the person who has the most number of accounts will win ultimately its better you choose what you are looking for then conducting a voting for it. just my point of view.

Not going to be thick faced and vote for myself. Just a promotion though, here is my. :p. #55 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1460926.msg14777417#msg14777417.

In my opinion, #22 looks great. It met the criteria of a simple looking logo. And it also met the criteria of being a well designed logo.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1460926.msg14756664#msg14756664

The 's' convince the theme of "elastic". To add even more, the logo is only one colour and can work in any type of background - be it dark or light. A one colour logo also means less printing cost, if, in the future, Elastic become popular and someone wishes to print Elastic logo on their business card or whatsoever.

If Elastic choose #22 as the official logo. I will not be surprised - because it is just great!.

(#22 is actually the first logo that capture my attention when I scrolled through the thread).

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Voting for my own, #12 Tongue

Btw, as I said earlier, an in case it gets voted, I'd be willing to modify it upon request (modify width/height/color)

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

I must admit that choice is really difficult! Smiley
Poptok1 showered thread with ideas, and some of them are very interesting.
I like simply and nice projects, and i think i like the most number #52 - AcidSun - first position.

Good luck! Smiley

If the above 3 votes is not obvious that the user is asking his friends or his alts and gaining the votes,I don't know what is.

@OP : Stop this voting stuff and decide the logo for yourself. You can easily see how unfair this is going. The one with maximum friends on the forum will win the job.Check the posts of everyone voted for #29,most of them have posts in only Alternate currencies ,there can't be this much of coincidence  between all the accounts.Very unfair for other participants.

(#22 is actually the first logo that capture my attention when I scrolled through the thread).

thanks for voting my design, it's an honor to me

thank you so much for voting my design

and

#44

My vote goes to #52

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

I just had to remove 8 posts. Please make sure you read and understand the rules of this vote as written in the original post before participating: we strictly enforce an activity of 60 or higher. Voting with a lower activity only results in your vote being deleted. Let's avoid this overhead.

I totally agree with you, it's not fair for other participants
i think that OP choice the winner. dont use to vote.

If OP want to get his project logo selected by Vote which he mentioned in logo competition thread. All the logo submitter are agreed then they submitted the logo. Then its OP's his own problem and  we need not to suggest him to break the rule which he mentioned already and that thread is already closed 2 days back. If OP will change the rule then may be those who are winning can have problem.

Anyways its OP's own decision and all logo submitter have to respect it. After all its his own project not our. He knows what he is going to get with the vote.

You didn't get what that dude was saying.

This is not how logo contests works, this is first time he's using a voting system without letting the designers know at first.

In logo contests, it's the OP who has to choose a winning logo. Not deciding the winners by voting system.

If this is how a winner gonna be choose, he has to say it in OP rules itself at the time of starting the contest. So the people who have less network wouldn't bother joining.

I'm not saying my design is best and it's unfair for me. What I'm saying is, it's unfair for those people with the skills.

Bad designers with more network will request their mates to vote for them and since they have more votes.

They'll be getting 0.10 if they win, they might even buy votes with a little invest. Who knows?

From what I understand from his post, before the pool started, Elastics members will choose a logo of their liking to be the official logo. If it is not what the others (we, Bitcointalker) voted for, Elastic will pay both designers 0.1 Bitcoin each.

Quote
The winner receives a bounty of 0.10 BTC. If the logo we eventually pick is different from the logo that has won in the poll, both designers will receive 0.10 BTC each. Designers are solely responsible to determinate what, if any, taxes apply to this bounty.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

+1
Nothing is unfair about this poll as the submission that we consider the best will win the 0.10 BTC bounty in any case.
