I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke

well i have good news or bad news, this week i took out all my saving from my bank 3500 and bought some bitcoin

i now have a total of 6 bitcoins,  


last night i bought 5 usb sticks and 2 waterproof boxes,  i put the box inside of the other box then the 5 usb sticks in the middle of the box,  afterwards i went into my backyard and dug a hole underneath the bird fountain,

i dug the hole almost 3 feet under. Then i buried it back and placed the bird fountain back.  

The bird fountain has been in the same spot for many years so i am not worried about forgetting where i buried it, and grass doesn't grow underneath it.

so there we have it,  I buried a total of 5 bitcoins, i plan to keep it there for 20 years. The 5 bitcoins cost me about 2300USD


The 6th bitcoin i keep it on my cellphone and i plan to spend it online,


Now i only have 100 dollars left in my bank,  i am basically broke,  my whole saving gone!


Was this a bad idea?   after i buried it i was starting to feel like it was a bad idea,  

i also did not put a hard password on it because i thought i would forget


but i wasn't planning on using my saving for anything, and the bank doesn't give me any interest for it,

i've never invested in anything , possibly because i don't have much money


anyways.. it's just money.. i'll save some more

i figure in the future, it might be way too expensive to own even 1 bitcoin,

if no one know the place you buried your USB what will be happen if something bad happen to you ? IMO that is very risky to do because if no one can't find it then it will be gone if something bad happen to you   

Yeah that's true, your collected bitcoins will be just wasted if you are going to hide it and you can't remember it anymore if where did you put it.
But still, don't lose hope op, it is fine that you have spent all your savings even though I know the feeling of it.
There's always a door of opportunities that are going to knock.

Yes obviously it is an investment like you do in gold. But of course more profitable then gold and all you need is patience while holding your coins or it can lead you to regret when price goes very high but you have already sold them all . No problem, just buy back when you get a better price.

yeah i agree you just need to be patient when you buy bitcoin and then the price drops. You must be patient and wait for prices to rise. believe that bitcoin prices will definitely go up and down. That is cycle of bitcoin dude. actually you're not going to lose if you want to be patient. but I do not suggest to use all the money to invest

All my new savings are in bitcoin now. It is very small percentage at the moment, but it will increase in the future.

Yes, this is a very stupid idea. You don't invest your entire life savings into anything. Considering you have almost no savings, investing it right now isn't the greatest idea either. The first step of investing is to work to obtain an initial starting capital, not take everything you own and throw it away long term while you're left with nothing.

Hahaha, What on earth gave you that idea? Did you do some research about bitcoins? What will happen in it in the future? Its probability? I hope you are happy with it. Hahha After all, it is your money, so whatever you do to it, it is your right. If we really want to be prosperous we need to make a risk. Just like gambling big bets earn big wins but also big losses. Your gamble is risky since you may not earn in the future but compare to the possible income you will have if price 20 years it is just right. Your potential income is more than what you will lose, its like losing 100 dollars for a potential thousand dollars.

That is really bad because now the halving is going to come soon and there is chance that the price will rise after the halving but you have just lost all your coins.

If the op gets those bitcoins now he has at the moment around 50% more from its investment made at May when the price were around 450 dollars, stop posting about halving will happen, it happened already cammon dont you even read the updates at the forum, really? I would like to invest such into bitcoin and be able to not spend them, that the hardest thing have them and not spend the bitcoins.
