I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke

Well, you can never really go broke with bitcoins, because technically, you just converted your money into a different currency. With that, I really can't consider that as being 'broke'. But of course, we all have our different opinions on this matter and just as you said, bitcoin's price will probably start to move sometime soon.

yeah i think we just need to have a lot of patience right now and we will see a bigger growth pretty soon i hope it will allow me to make huge profit really easily

These things don't match. My definition of having a lot patience is to wait for at least a year or so.

First of all, I wouldn't trust these so called waterproof containers.  If I were you, I would put your bitcoin in cold storage--i.e., paper wallet.

One year is not much of a patience. The real patience starts from 10 years in my opinion, and most wont touch the coins for so long only if the Bitcoin is dug under ground somewhere as the OP did. Or at least make the Bitcoin hardly accessible somewhere so you dont act impulsive, thats my recomendation if you dont need the Bitcoin now and you planning keeping the Bitcoin for future use.

Yeah i think patience is the key of the success in every way, now what i do is keep bitcoin at my wallet to expected can sell at the high price.

Yeah i think patience is the key of the success in every way, now what i do is keep bitcoin at my wallet to expected can sell at the high price.

useless if you're patient, but there is no action in it you have to act and to work hard to be successful. the wait is not always the best thing you know

a lot of people needs a more information about the mean of halving, they can't wish it's will giving a big effect for a short time because it is a long term effect

you dont even need to that kind of thing.. who knows. 2 or more years to come..  bitcoin price would like $1000... we just have to wait and keep your bitcoins on your wallet.. forget about investing it.. its better that way.. and if it rises.. you can just exchange it to real money though..

well i have good news or bad news, this week i took out all my saving from my bank 3500 and bought some bitcoin

i now have a total of 6 bitcoins,  


last night i bought 5 usb sticks and 2 waterproof boxes,  i put the box inside of the other box then the 5 usb sticks in the middle of the box,  afterwards i went into my backyard and dug a hole underneath the bird fountain,

i dug the hole almost 3 feet under. Then i buried it back and placed the bird fountain back.  

The bird fountain has been in the same spot for many years so i am not worried about forgetting where i buried it, and grass doesn't grow underneath it.

so there we have it,  I buried a total of 5 bitcoins, i plan to keep it there for 20 years. The 5 bitcoins cost me about 2300USD


The 6th bitcoin i keep it on my cellphone and i plan to spend it online,


Now i only have 100 dollars left in my bank,  i am basically broke,  my whole saving gone!


Was this a bad idea?   after i buried it i was starting to feel like it was a bad idea,  

i also did not put a hard password on it because i thought i would forget


but i wasn't planning on using my saving for anything, and the bank doesn't give me any interest for it,

i've never invested in anything , possibly because i don't have much money


anyways.. it's just money.. i'll save some more

i figure in the future, it might be way too expensive to own even 1 bitcoin,

It is not a bad idea son, you did well, I would love to see many people doing this, but for next time do that when you see los price and no good news, example: below 350 USD, but anyway at long term the price will increase alot more than your in.

Talking of keeping bitcoins, I understand your need to put it somewhere safe and not within easy reach, but usb sticks spoil with time, a paper wallet would be best for that kind of thing.

I know btc would be a really pricey thing 20 years from now, so I want to ask everyone: Which method is best for making profit, holding it for 10 years before selling or day trading?

I think he means prices go down after he bought bitcoin that they deposits of all fiat money that they have? yeah I also think that "is it I wrong in investing in bitcoin"? because I have to wait long to see the price go up. but you do not need to hesitate. bitcoin prices will surely rise. you just need to be patient

it is better not to avoid investing in bitcoins i think because it will surely allow you to make some good money, in my opinion the price is definitely going to go up a lot

The problem isnt the act itself, is the how long the equipement can keep safe the bitcoins stored, would be better to create a new adress and let the money there frozen, but is more tempted to do anything with those bitcoin. This one has has showed to be the best thing to do with bitcoin , save them.
