So i just started out doing this but i can't seem to log in to the silk road.

I do love my home city, especially when I see things like this.

Remember that whilst Bitcoin is the payment method in underground communities on the dark web, the clear web is not the place to discuss them.

Now also consider the risk of exposure. You see assuming you use this username on other communities on the internet, then the authorities can discover a little more about you.

Assuming you are the person linked in the profile:

Then you are a firefighter and wouldn't want people to find out where you choose to shop, especially when flirting with the legality.

Obviously, this might not be you. I don't care either way, I'm pointing out the dangers of discussing such things out in the open.
This forum is not for discussion of Silk Road, it's for the discussion of Bitcoin as an economy. I have heard of Silk Road having it's own forum, I'm not sure of the link as I've never accessed it.

SWIM would advise you to look elsewhere for the information you require.

normally you would just phrase the question differently to be safe: "A friend of mine can't log into sr. Anyone know what's up with that?"
