I think the latest move in price is - yes, in anticipation of a news release we have coming on Monday but also because we've started making some major progress in connecting with the Chinese community (thanks to a recent addition to the team, willyk!). We have a LOT of stuff being released over the coming months including at least two software releases (Syscoin 2.1 and Blockmarket M1). We're really working hard, just look at the github commits on syscoin2- and that's only half the picture.

We're trying a new marketing strategy with this release, one that will reach a much larger audience than strategies used in previous releases!

The coins lower than 1 million marketcap are often a good pick but i know that lots of people bought the IPO and it was not a very good experience seeing your first investment in crypto flushing down the toilet because of a scam. I won't do any big investments here anymore, but indeed it may be a good decision to buy half a bitcoin or whatever worth at these prices.

I wish the bitbay team good luck for the future. It all depends on development and needs motivated people .

Have been watching SYS for a long time, thinking it is the real thing , so it is hard to go to the competition now.

SYS has been the real thing since day one. The investors were never scammed, the dev team got screwed, took a huge blow and kept moving forward.

I'm from the IPO, (250sats each i think) and have continued to expand my position from the beginning. I bought a ton @ 2400 sats for outside investors who understand the potential, those will not be sold for less than $1 each.

Time is your friend right now because of the extremely low prices. Pick up at least 1 btc right now and relax, this team is on their game, dedicated and continue to deliver time after time.

yes mate this moves will keep going up and if we buy it by now surely we will expect profits in the long run the dev are active and keeps informing the community with the update im just quitely supporting this since the price still @ cheap and keep doing small trade for profits and buy if i have spare btc then hold again.

But honestly... I am reading this moolah saga now. I was unaware that 750BTC have evaporated and the project still survived. And there was a legal battle, probably costly... SYS should be cold dead long time ago and instead it is becoming a legend now. That's incredible!

It survived all the mess and the devs never stopped innovating while their funding was stolen. Motivation driving it forward.

Are you kidding? The main dev of Syscoin vouched for Moolah's reputation to investors, then did next to nothing to recover for investors after the theft.

Hiring lawyers is not nothing. When something like that happens most of the people would just walk away, I am happy to see the project progressing.

On the contrary, they did everything possible to regain the lost funds and, are still engaged. If you have a problem, take it up with the courts, that's where the hangup was and, still is. There are many people with bigger claims against Kennedy than SysCoin. With every ICO comes risk, we accept that here. You win, you loose but, life goes on and you don't blame people who fought to recover your money, you blame the criminal, Ryan Kennedy. And remember, it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

It’s with great excitement that we announce we have now established an official Toronto, Canada based corporation named Blockchain Foundry Inc. From now on Blockchain Foundry Inc., will be the company primarily responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Syscoin project. It will be releasing a number of products built on and powered by the Syscoin platform. For more information on what Blockchain Foundry Inc., means to people outside the Syscoin community please read this announcement press release on the Blockchain Foundry website.
 
WHY FORM A COMPANY?

There are many, many blockchain projects being run successfully without an incorporated company, so why did we form Blockchain Foundry Inc.? There are a number of reasons. As Syscoin has matured as a project, and as we’ve talked with different parties – some of which are already partners, some of which we’re still talking to privately. What became clear is that these entities outside of the small sliver of the internet that is familiar with “altcoins” aren’t comfortable or willing to work with “a general partnership of open-source developers”. They require a corporate entity to interact with in order to proceed with any sort of formal agreement/partnership/investment/plan we may be working towards.
 
Microsoft Partner Certification is a distinction that would put Blockchain Foundry Inc., and all of its Syscoin-related products in a much more visible position within Microsoft’s partner network. In order to be a partner with a certified product on Microsoft’s Azure BaaS platform we needed to be a company entity. This will enable us to start generating revenue through the Azure Marketplace with our proucts. We are working on getting multiple products certified. Once completed we will be the first (and currently only) company-backed product within MS Azure BaaS working with Bitcoin/blockchain derived technology (the only other certified company, BlockApps offers Ethereum-based products).
 
The formation of Blockchain Foundry Inc., goes beyond needing to satisfy some logistics. Given the plans we have for Syscoin and the opportunity we’re creating with Blockmarket, we wanted to provide investors who don’t invest through cryptocurrency a vehicle for investing and supporting our vision of a blockchain-powered future – not only in terms of marketplaces but our other use cases as well. We have had initial conversations with investors and are working to complete a seed financing round in the coming months. This will enable us to move faster and launch multiple products in parallel sooner – without sacrificing quality – rather than having to focus on a single product at a time due to limited time and resources.
 
GUARANTEEING SYSCOIN’S FUTURE

Syscoin is the catalyst that spawned this vision.
