any updates on this coin? Smiley i love SYS and i hold but would like to hear more
the price really deep now but good opportunity to hold more and earn in return for sure.
No worries. It goes down every time they post an update, opportunity to buy more sys is coming Wink

Question: Do you have any SYS? If you do then, why continue to trash your own investment? If you don't, well, thats a different matter entirely.

I do have of course. I am not trashing anything, you cannot trash a good project with constructive criticism like mine (I hope). I am pointing out unprofessional actions that in return affect the price of syscoin. Announcement of setting up the company is a perfect example. Uncertanity with 2.1 is another. Inability to communicate properly with the community is next. So I'd rather hear: good job l3sny, go on!

Sorry, you won't be hearing that. If you really cared, you would use private messaging to inform the team of things YOU consider an issue instead of public posting. That would be constructive, as opposed to the destructive nature of your comments.

There's nobody there on slack, no feedback no reaction. It is not my fault, it is the fault of the people who run this project. My points still stand and are valid. And honestly they do not care because:

1) either they believe syscoin/blockmarket is such a kill app/technology that will revolutionize the markets they do not bother about some freak making bias

2) or they have nothing to say as in general the criticism is justified.

No matter what I bet once they open their mouth and make an announcement or update the price will fall further.

Are you in the right slack group? They are always there and constantly posting updates.

These are the most used channels: "general", "tradetalk", "bugs".
If you post in random it may happen that you get no answer.

October Development Update

http://syscoin.org/syscoin-october-development-update/

We’ve been hard at work on Syscoin 2.1 and Blockmarket M1, we wanted to provide the community with an update since there is a lot going on internally but it may seem quiet from the outside. So here are some updates since our last blog post:

We are now listed on Bittylicious. Bittylicious is an exchange in UK for purchasing cryptocurrencies via bank or credit card. They are especially known for their simple interface and quick process. This is a big step for SYS (Syscoin’s Ticker Symbol) as Bittylicious represents our first gateway for enabling users to move directly from fiat to SYS. Check out Bittylicious (https://bittylicious.com) and grab some SYS today!

Next, we’ve followed Bitcoin’s lead and are now on Transifex for translating our wallet to different language locales through crowdsourcing. We ask that anyone who’s interested in helping, please visit our project site on transifex.com and click “Help Translate Syscoin” to join. (https://www.transifex.com/blockchain-foundry-inc/syscoin).

As mentioned in previous posts, the Syscoin 2.1 update will be a mandatory update. Standard procedure for a mandatory update involves contacting mining pools and exchanges to make sure they update, a process we’re very good at but it does involve a significant amount of time and effort to coordinate successfully. Because of this overhead when making major beneficial changes to the platform, we try to pack in as many features, fixes, and upgrades as possible.

After careful consideration, and noting the above, we decided to rebase Syscoin 2.1 from Bitcoin 0.12 to Bitcoin 0.13. This follows the ethos we announced when Syscoin 2.0 was first launched- Syscoin will be constantly merging in updates from the Bitcoin core as it progresses and improves; and this is us putting that statement into action. We noted that the Hierarchical Deterministic Key Generation feature included in 0.13 is definitely something our alias identity platform can leverage. This rebase contains 866 changed files with 12,441 additions and 2,977 deletions, so we are very cautious testing thoroughly through the code merge.

Furthermore, we’ve heard the community asking if we can escrow bitcoin transactions in addition to Syscoin transactions. We dwelled on the idea, and based on the potential we see with this feature, decided to also add this functionality to Syscoin 2.1. This means that we will support bitcoin-escrow in Syscoin 2.1. Even with the large number of code changes in this update, our release target is still Q4 2016 for both Syscoin 2.1 and Blockmarket M1.

We have further news on Blockmarket M1’s progress and MS Certification as well which we’ll share in a separate post from Blockchain Foundry. It’s something we’re very excited about as it will mean a fundamental change in how users experience the Syscoin wallet across different platforms. It aims at making the experience and access to the marketplace not only easier, but also consistent across a wide variety of platforms with room for extensions by the developer community as well!

TL:DR: We are rebasing Syscoin 2.1 from Bitcoin 0.12 to Bitcoin 0.13, keeping up with BTC core dev as promised when 2.0 launched. SYS 2.1 and Blockmarket M1 on track for Q4 2016. Separate post on BlockchainFoundry blog next week about Blockmarket progress.

All excellent news. Thanks for keeping us informed, as usual, and, thanks for all the work you are putting into this project. Success is a thing that is earned, not found, good job.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. Thomas A. Edison

Our dates have always been tentative, our update has nothing to do with your criticism (not always constructive).

We haven't stopped in the last three years despite the theft of our development fund and we are certainly not off the track, we are full steam ahead!

Our team has gained new members and new contributors as well + we have big plans for Blockchain Foundry Inc.

On another note, Syscoin is a decentralized and open-source platform. The best form of constructive criticism would be to get on github, test, open issues, and contribute to the code or if you don't have technical talent, then you can also setup your own PR/marketing campaign. There's only one reason Dogecoin was/is so popular and that's that the community pitches in -- if Dogecoin could do it being a simple litecoin copy paste clone then imagine what our community could do for an innovative project like Syscoin.

You see? A bit of constructive criticism and we are back on the track!
 Wink

Finally some good vibe!
I will try to contribute as much as I can and spread the word about syscoin and blockmarket.

It aims at making the experience and access to the marketplace not only easier, but also consistent across a wide variety of platforms with room for extensions by the developer community as well!

finally some news and statemen about Syscoin 2.1 release. keep 'em coming.

would be better if dev will update the roadmap to reflect the change in schedule of release.

So, what's the problem then? They said it would be Q4 2016. It is now Q4 2016 and will be until 1 Jan 2017. The road map says October, it is now October. What's to update really?

Sys lower and lower.Where is the bottom?

I hope a little bit lower than this. Price will rise bigtime for sure when 2.1 is released.
So all the people selling now will either buy back at a lower level or they will miss the boat.
