Bro the author is a whale. Whales get the most attention on this platform. Basically the concept of money attracts money. Those who stake a high amount of Steem in Steemit, naturally get much higher payouts. I hope this clears your doubt.

Blocktrades is working absolutely fine. What currency pair you see disabled on blocktrades? You can also go for Openledger exchange.

There was no fork, just that Steem and SBD prices have increased very much and hence the payout rewards have also increased a lot.

Just saw this being shared on facebook group thus leads me to finding your thread here in bitcointalk. ADZ actually came in mind when i first heard of it on facebook. okay so yeah i'll join why not. but when i was about the create an account, it says "Password length should be 16 characters or more. Password acts as your private key and should be strong." As if 8 characters isn't difficult enough to put in mind. why not just make it 8 and give us the option to set up the 2FA?

I love steemit even my steem it account only have 800+ follower but the blog platform is really good. Especially after they upgrade it now. UI better and the access also better. And steem coin is up very much. Heheh

I don't think they would be asking to input a 16 digit password. I didn't face this issue when I registered. Anyways, what you need is the private key to login and not the password. You should keep your private key safe somewhere. If you lose that, then you can't access your account.
