Yep, facts are against it. Firstly, the threat of a ban in bitcoin-trading in South Korea was the proximate cause of the plunge. At one end of Asia is Japan, which has embraced crypto-currencies. At the other is China, which has banished them. Even in Asia bitcoin won't be an international currency in the nearest future.

this is very good if this happens then bitcoin will be the standard of other crypto currency, and will be widely used in all places, of course will make it easier for users when traveling abroad no need to bother to exchange local money again but can already use bitcoin or other crypto money

Yes, its already international currency how even some countries ban our bitcoin. But government can't stopped the expansion of the new era of currency. Now a days, it will be like dollar, that accepted all over the world. All my friends and co-bitcoiners, we believe that the cryptocurrency could change the world in terms of transaction.

Under current circumstances its very hard to believe bitcoin may become a world currency, Governments are against it and want to put walls against it.

specially on that matter your rivalry would be the powerful country in the world that their currency is the international money , they would not allow that their currency would be run second to bitcoin , maybe they were adapting bitcoin today but it doesnt mean that they will give up their currency and switch to bitcoin.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think? You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it. And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency? How many people like with this thread?
It is being recognized and used around the world and we can transact with bitcoins from persons and business institution around the world so it is considered already as an international currency.

There's no question about bitcoin to be the international currency one day. It will just fast-track one's transaction being made on both ends giving customer satisfaction. Not only that because we know that there are an array of advantages of bitcoin than fiat.

I think, maybe someday bitcoin will become the international currency because bitcoin has been used by many countries and when that happens it will make it easier for us to make transactions

I think the probability of this to happen is there. With more merchants and people is being open in utilizing bitcoin and other cyrpto currency, it will be something that will be in the mainstream sooner or later.

First of all we must think first the chance of making it as an international currency because I believe that it was impossible to happen. There are still people that can't access Bitcoin or not even know about it. It runs through the internet but there are still countries who have problem about this need. We should first address these possible problems before thinking about how it will be moderated.

If people around the world know about bitcoin and patronize the use of it ,so time will come that it will become internationally currency to those using digital media.

I think this is still difficult to realize, as we know that currently there is no developer who can send bitcoin in seconds like in bank transactions, if the international currency of course speed becomes important.

Bitcoin is already an international currency "in some countries" not the entire world. Like where I am from some people don't even know about it. You are lucky if you know about it. Well maybe in the next 5-10years it will be more globally recognized.

A very good question. But how? The systems which would support bitcoin to be more famous is yet to be established and it def. takes time to let people recognize it as the "paying" methods. As you pointed out, scalability is the hardest problem to be solved.

It is now an international currency. Maybe you meant to ask about bitcoin being allowed to be exchanged with other currencies globally. Thailand and China are the countries that do not allow exchange and making of bitcoin, making it impossible for it to be a global currency.

I think there is a possibility that the bitcoin can become international currency. There are only few people who are aware and using bitcoins. Bitcoin should gain more power; for the bitcoin to become popular all over the world.

Right! Although Bitcoin cannot be called money in all meanings of this word, it has become an international currency, used globally. Now we can send BTC anywhere, and it will take us almost no time!
