to those doubting the potential halving mega-bubble....

you think the whales won't try to capitalize on this opportunity? even if it wasn't going to happen organically, they would make it happen, due to the hype they've got a perfect scenario forming where they can easily manipulate the price with a few well placed movements and get lots of people panic buying as it rises. result: mega bubble.

I recall last summer litecoin going from something like 1.50 to 8.50, purely from mini-whales having some fun with the hype. bitcoin is bigger, its network is bigger, its hype is bigger, its whales are bigger, and the panic buyers will surely be plentiful. i have been one at times myself. i bought on the wrong end of that litecoin rise, and i learned alot from it.

stop doubting and play along, its unstoppable. I'm not saying there won't be a crash after, but the bubble seems inevitable. ltc went from 1.50 to 8.50, even if btc goes from the bottom of 220, the previous ath of 1200 fits that 500% bubble growth that ltc had with its halving. whales are gonna make some big waves.

of course we believe about halving and to you as well, you're an old fart here. should I buy LTC now?

Speak for yourself, my man. I'm skeptical of the effect the halving is going to have. I doubt there's going to be much of one, and the litecoin market is much smaller and thinner than btc. It's hard to compare those two.

those mini-whales were Chinese who pumped the shit out of litecoin. that was a huge rise and a lot of profit back at the ltc halving. it looks like the same thing is forming up again because of another hype

The mega BTC bubble is coming because I've never seen such desperate manipulation trying to lower the price before as I have lately. They're trying to accumulate everything that exists at as low of a price as possible before it happens.

I'm in the camp of those expecting a massive speculative bubble too, for reasons similar to those given in OP. Dont panic buy into the massive green candles, buy now and simply wait. Or trade a few alts with a little bit on the side to keep you entertained while you wait.

People who were already a beneficiary of bitcoin won't doubt in its potential. Only the new comers have small hesitation whether it stays long or not. Halving will surely help those people realize the truth about bitcoin.

The only problem that i see on mega-bubble is that we can have big movements up and down, on halving day and following days. That is good for traders, but i don't now if it will be good to sell (in case of big increasings) and buy if price is having a correction.

personally i have no idea if the halving will have any effect on the price.

if you look at longer term charts it looks like the halving was priced in during november 2015. Before that, btc was trading roughly between 200-300, since november it is traded between 400-500. we will see

Idk...I could see it going either way. The key is to be fully aware of the manipulation going on while it is happening. Have the presence of mind to buy on a dump and not buy if there is a pump. I know it's easier said than done, but people should mentally prepare themselves before emotions take over.

It is very likely as you say. Some movement will happen due to the people thinking it will happen. But then... When to sell? at 700? at 1000? if it does keep growing? it is not as easy

Whales could've attempted to start a bubble any old time they liked. They've grown comfortable with their mini pumps and dumps with a mountain of leverage.

It's not possible for the halving to be priced in, that's not the way mining works.

we hope that after halving the price will rise twice as much but I do not agree when it was called mega bubble due if the price rise double it's still inferior with ethereum price can rise to 1300%

Mega bubble will not only be due to halving. Bitcoin is being taken seriously as a safe haven, like gold only less suppressed. When (not if) next financial crisis hits bitcoin will benefit and then some. Bitcoin halving of supply will only be adding rocket fuel to the already explosive mix
