Still have anonymous payments.
Log out from your wallet and log in again.  When I did that the option was gone.  You are just running an old version of the code.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I don't see the option right now either. He was discussing dropping the price in a recent thread, perhaps he is re-working the feature somehow. Or, perhaps he has taken heat from someone about it and has shut it down to protect the rest of his business.

I'm a big fan of privacy, and of the option for people to remain anonymous while using Bitcoin, but it is self-evident that people were using Blockchain's anonymous feature to filter stolen coins, coins used for extremely nefarious purposes, as well as coins used for only slightly nefarious purposes (buying weed from the Silk Road, for example). It wouldn't surprise me if he was pressured from somewhere or someone to stop or change the way he offers this feature.

Still cant believe it has been a couple days now and there is not a single word about it from Blockchain - their FAQs still have the section up that says you can Send and Receive Anonymously...

FYI piuk indicated earlier today that he would be making an announcement about this soon:

I've still got both the anon options in my wallet using the Chrome extension.  Not checked from the HTTPS version tho?

It's baaaaaaaaaack!

https://blockchain.info/wallet/send-shared

Looks like they redesigned the mixing algorithm?

Fee appears to have lowered as well (now only 0.5%).

All is well in the universe once more.

I am glad it was fixed. however, the way it was executed was not good. I hope next time a big change is introduced there is some explanation before it happens, otherwise people will become worried about using the service.

I was happy for a couple of minutes, now comes the next HUGE problem...

I'm not able to send anything out of my wallet. When I try quick send I get a nasty red message saying "Error getting unspent outputs"...

When I try the new "send shared" function I get another red message saying "null"... Anyone else getting this now?

When I try to login to my other wallet I get this red message: "Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER"

I have backups in form of private keys, but this is NOT good...

What, the moving servers page? That's an old page from 6 months or more ago when he switched servers.

Oh, he didn't switch servers then?

Anyhow, blockchain is up and running again, the bitcoins are still there and it's possible to send money again, i'm happy.

But why the lack of communication? Maybe he didn't switch server, but used that image as a way to find some time to work out the problems that showed up..

We need communcation ahead of time every time there's a major change to the site if we are gonna be able to trust it 100%.

Trust it 100%? With Bitcoin involved in the business? Don't get your hopes very high.
And I'm not talking about the operator running away with your coin, in case that's what you're thinking.
One piece of regulation can kill any bitcoin business from one day to the other and there's nothing you can do about it.
Just keep your private keys safe with you, ok? Don't make yourself dependent on anyone or any service.
