Yeah, Bitcoin is still the best name. Bitcoins has more popular in this era so if you have the best why you think about new one.

Say the Bitcoin community would ask you for a new name;  a new name must be chosen for Bitcoin.

What would be your proposal?

How about buttcoin?
Or is that already taken?

Or how about Ethereum... is that taken? Cheesy

Bitcoin; it just rolls out of the tongue. It would be cool though if it’s used a simple names such as “rin” That’s the name of the currency from a new game that I’m developing soon. But bitcoin is still a good name.

I saw a speech of Andreas Antonopoulos that said that he found Bitcoin to sound too nerdy, because Bit makes you think of geeky stuff, and then coin, which is wrong since Bitcoin actually uses no coins but keys, so he proposed Trustnet or something like that. I think he is terribly wrong, Bitcoin is a way cooler sounding name, actually no one but nerds care that you aren't using coins but keys.

If it had a saying it would go like: Bits and Bytes; ur number one currency food right in your personal computer. Though I think it should be a simple one word name.

Bitcoin is a great name, but a "satoshi" is a terrible name for it's lowest unit.

I think bitcoin is a better name for this currency and Satoshi is the inventor of this currency and he liked that name for it.

But if I was the inventor of bitcoin I would gave the name VCoin to it, which is derived from Virtual Coin.

Then don't worry your name is taken, there will be someone who will create another crypto currency and will choose that name for that currency, as nowadays the currencies are more than the names available for them, so one attractive name is your one.

Even if I had to I would most likely refuse to pick a new name for Bitcoin because I couldn't find anything that fits better. If you were to force me to, I would just call it Bits. But that's not really what I want obviously.

I refuse to pick a new name for bitcoin even tge developers gave me chance.Bitcoin name has been a mark for peoples using it,and i think there is no enough reason of changing it's name to something.Bitcoin as it name nkw must remain to what is it no need to change.
