Brand new uncirculated bitcoins, fresh from the blockchain block reward, the coinbase transaction. First time ever for a physical bitcoin! Newly mined, without any transaction records whatsoever. https://bt.cc/mnt7https://bt.cc/mnt8Now that's interesting. But newly mined blocks without any transactions, would mean that we'd have to pay 12.5 BTC for the funding + whatever the coins cost, right? I don't understand, bitcoins are bitcoins, whether they are freshly mined or not, there is no extra value (IMO) to fresh vs. coins with taint. And cryptoheadd, don't you mean .125 BTC like OP says? No no. For freshly mined bitcoins (no transactions) the coin would need to contain an address with a mined block, right? And the reward of 1 block would be 12.5 btc? These will not be sold as 12.5 BTC coins. Therefore, these will not be "without any transaction records whatsoever" as mentioned by BTCC Official. We just won't see it. The Chinese miners have a lot of control over mining ops, so there will likely split the miner reward/payment directly to these coins somehow (likely very small denominations of 0.01 or even smaller to mass produce these like the Satori coins). So far it looks cheaply made (likely mass produced because again, China). If just a prototype and it will actually be a precious metal (silver) instead, then I will retract my comments. But, I doubt it. The one special quality is the "freshly mined". It's an interesting concept, but ehhh...

If the coin is loaded with 12.50 bitcoins, it will be out of my possibilities. But with the pictures posted till now it don't seems a silver coin, and with this amount of bitcoins i think the coins have to be made of silver, not from cheaper metals.

what do u mean by this amount of coins .Has the OP stated about the number of coins anywhere yet?? I think it's a hint at the (possibly huge) amount of various coins being teased/presented/sold currently, not one at the numbers of coins minted for this specific series.

Yes, it will be huge! One million bits! :-) What would the ideal physical bitcoin be made of? Bitcoin is the world’s first and most successful digital cryptocurrency, the strongest of them all. What would be the ideal material? Come back tomorrow... https://bt.cc/mnt9

Greaat. 0.01 BTC with a cheap metal would probably cost us 0.03 w/ shipping. Can't wait for launch.

So bro why did you think he mean 1000k satoshi!!! No offence though

No offence though Yeah none taken Just because it would be strange to write 1000,000 Bits which is 1 Bitcoin But even the coin says 1000,000 Bitcoin - why not write 1 Bitcoin Or maybe they are trying to do something new this way and i didn't accept it mentally 0.01 or 1 BTC - both are Welcome though i'll prefer 1 BTC unfunded

Sorry, but thats a letdown for me. Coins I've seen with that material often have a rough texture, and IMHO dont have that premium look. Helps explain the teaser pics we've been seeing.
Its a great material for airplanes, not so much for collectible coins.
Titanium Prices are about $6 / ounce, compared to silver at around $16.50.

Yep, titanium is really difficult to machine into a coin, and results usually look rough.

Yep, titanium is really difficult to machine into a coin, and results usually look rough. They need to polish these coins up. Then, it may look OK. These coins look very rough.
