Ok, Bancor forecasting is off to a bang. My forecast of 400k is getting blown out of the water!

Anyways, I have a few questions regarding the forecasting rewards...

Where, when, and how do I receive them?
The wings platform lets me withdrawal my wings tokens from the forecast, is that ok to do so right now? Or should I wait for rewards to be dispersed?

I love the wings concept, very promising. Just like the guy above me said, "I won't sell one!" I strongly feel the same way, even being some 50x more valuable than the ico, I'm tempted to buy more!

hey i have a question.... bancor had 250k eth cap  but  they got more then 396k eth . so now my  forecast  was 232k eth ... witch is the final result ? 250k or 396k? cheers looking forward for your reply.

The 396+ is the real number, or whatever is the final calculation.

If you read the Bancor crowdfund terms, they had a 1 hr window where all investments will be received regardless of the hidden cap. Due to the Ethereum attack, the transactions were delayed and they extended the window another 3hrs.

So all the investments were allowed until the window closed. Since the investments exceeded the cap, the crowdfund was then ended immediately.

It has been a while since I read the whitepaper, but there is an algorithm that is used to determine the amount that each participant would get based on the number of wings forecast, accuracy, etc.  I would imagine that everyone will get something, but that those that were closest would get a higher percentage.  But I am not entirely sure, I suppose its possible that only those predictions within 2 standard deviations (which based on statistics would be ~95% of the forecasts) would get something.  We would need to see the algorithm to know for sure how much each forecaster will get.

Anyway it was great experience for Wings also us. I guess Coin Dash is the next one?

I predicted over 370k ETH so finally that ICO successfully finished with extended time due to massive attack there. This was my first prediction on that platform how to get know about reward amount who will get these?

It depends on what mathematical algorithm they use.  If there were an equal distribution of rewards based solely on the number of wings forecast, then $250,000 to ~13,000,000 WINGS forecast would mean about $.02 USD per WING forecast.  I would assume that it will be a bit more per WING forecast the closer you were, and a bit less the further away you were.  So if I had to guess, I would say it ranges from $.005 per WING you forecasted, to maybe $.04 if you were very close.  So if you used 1000 WINGS to forecast, you would have maybe between $5 and $40 depending on your accuracy.

But that is a complete guess.  The algorithm could more heavily favor accuracy and give WAY more rewards to the accurate forecasters, or it could skew more heavily towards a more equal distribution in which case it could be a much narrower difference between accurate and inaccurate forecasters.

Once the smart contract is run we should be able to figure it out fairly easily.

It was crazy to see how many people participated into 1st round there. Wings has nice platform so this has chance to grwo more strong in future.

did you ever consider that all of us crazy "to the moon" kids actually put a ton of research into it, and expected it to be much higher than it was, and had it not been for the spam attacks probably would have come much closer to how much was raised?

After all, the ico was extended for "three hours" although it was cut off around 2-1/2 with several thousand pending transactions...

I guess we should just all be thankful that we got to participate and get something out of it.

I'm sure everyone feels that it coulda shoulda woulda been different if only...

I'm just happy that we were given this opportunity to make history, and any tokens we get we should just be thankful for.

My opinion is Wings should be credited for the quick success of Bancor ICO . Just imagine it only took several hours to amassed such total ETH. I don't know if it is the fastest ICO in the history but definitely one of the biggest .

Very true.. and I'm saying the same to pissed off investors.

The spam attack only lowered the funds collected.

The denied backlog of investments are huge!

If these transactions were able to go through when they were meant to...

Easily 500, maybe 600K.

I think the people who really did research were forecasting that high.
I went 400k, curious how my rewards will look like
