i created an account on wings.ai but did not save the private key nor recovery password. so to rectify this - i created a new account with a different email on wings.ai. however, when i tried to log back into the first account to send funds to the second account's wallet, the wallet address changed to the same address as the second email i registered with. now i cannot access the first wallet and do not have access to my funds. if someone can help me access these funds and move them back to MEW, i'll pay them 4.5k wings (a little over 0.75 BTC)

That would be tough. Private key plays the most important role in crypto, it holds the key to access your funds and without it your tokens will be lost forever. Sad to say, all of your tokens are unrecoverable.  

no, the funds are accessible via email login as well. but the wallet address was overwritten. if somebody can undo this overwriting of addresses, then that is the solution to the problem. i just don't know if that is feasible or not, i'm not knowledgeable in this

You try access this count in another computer? I pm you with more details. I guess the Wings site shows the 12 words (when you try recovery). I can try create a program (brute force to find the sequence, 12!= 479,001,600) oh my!

maybe there is a way to verify that somehow as well but I did'nt find anything ..

without seed i'm afraid you can't recover your account or wings balance. you must have saved or written down your seed somewhere, because at the time of registering seed verification is done.

I didnt clearly understand..If you login in your account via email\pass can you see your wings in your account? If not I mean if the ethereum adress in the account is new but wings are in the old one try to log in the old account using old email\pass. You shold do this via the browser you used for the registration. If you can do this go to the tab "Show private key" and than enter the local password (you created this password during the registration) and you will see you private key. Than..enter the key to MEW and transfer your Funds. I hope it will help you

the wings site is setup differently than the average site. it doesn't matter what email you put in, as long as you have the password correct it will bring up the wallet address that was last generated using the "create an account". try it yourself. make up an email and use your correct login password and you'll get to your account no problem. the email is irrelevant. every time you register a new account, the wallet address that is generated becomes the default one on your computer through the wings.ai site. you just need to use the newest password to access it (or private key/passphrase, of course. but if i had that, there'd be no problem). but what happens when you create a new account is that the old password no longer works. it seems that the new login data is saved on top of old login data. so somewhere in my recent mozilla data there is access to my funded wallet using the email/password login. i am just not savvy enough to figure it out, hence the bounty


it is difficult to understand because the site works in a way that you wouldn't expect. it's not like creating an account on a forum whereby you can create and access multiple accounts with different emails and passwords. everytime you create a new account, it's like the old password is replaced with the one used for the new account. and that new account has a new address, not the original one. that is what i didn't know when i was creating a new account to transfer the funds to, else i obviously would have saved the private key from the original account. i was in the process of moving funds to an account where i had the passphrase.

The browser doesnt store different cookies in a line. I mean, you know, the same kind of cookies as an example, only one email\pass is stored in a browser. Exactly that is 2 different passwords for a website couldn't stored in a browser if you have recovery seed than you can restore your account and all balance will get restore. It's recommended to store you account seed in a safe place in case if you deleted the cookies or clear the history of your browser.
