I've been using Steemit for almost a month now. Basically, it's a lot like a Reddit where if you post good original content such as your own articles, art, photography, ideas, discussions, even silly memes, you can get rewarded with real money. You also get a good portion of "curation" rewards for just voting on the good stuff early and often. The higher your Steem Power, which represents a long-term investment into the Steem network, the higher your curation rewards are too. So if you think this concept has merit, hit up Bittrex for some STEEM and power up your account. If you don't think the concept has merit, I suggest you read or at least skim the white paper and find out for sure. I think the way it's set up was pretty well thought out.
