Invested some money in the early stages of ICO ,fuckers dumped the project with this message :

Quote
Dear all Ophion Investors and Members,

Due to legendary idiot member Hueristic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=198573), We are having a hard time continuing developement or getting interested parties involved with development. We have now just lost one of the exchanges because of his messages. He is ruining what Ophion could be for you.

Ophion is to be developed by 2 people I know well and have worked with (Still in discussion about payment) But our communication is good. We can continue this project but I really dont know how much we can make from it now as a bit of fud like this can turn people off.

Hueristic is throwing accusation at everyone and everything and lying himself to make our project look bad. We dont know what his problem is. We have no other choice but to stop the project. We are unable to fully pay everyone back due to the fact we have used funds for Marketing (Community Manager, Sig Campaign), Servers, Developers, Translators and more. But we can pay back what we can.

If you are out of pocket, This is Hueristic's fault, not ours. we only wanted to make a good project for the community, but I guess that is not possible with such trolls. I am out of pocket myself also.

Regards,

Sebastian Bates

Ran away with around : 17 Bitcoins last time I checked.
Official crowdfunding website dumped too : https://www.ophion.io/
Official Ann Thread Locked : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1464725.0

Good lesson learnt! Don't take ShitCoin projects too seriously.

They started this week a signature campaign which unfortunately is closed (both the ANN thread and the signature campaign thread), but hopefully the funds for the signature campaign are held by escrow (1BTC), a discussion that was made a bit earlier: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479452.0

I find it ridiculous that he couldn't compensate people their money back. I myself only invested a little bit I was just about to invest 0.08 btc I'm really glad I didn't as that would be really bad for me. Personally my stance towards altcoins is don't invest unless it has a new improvement compared to other coins. I was greatly mistakened it seemed the signature campaign I believe will have to pay for at least 1 week if not continuing.

Since i was in their signature campaign I was going to buy some a few days ago but forgot too as I was far too busy. That was a close one I guess.
Still just want to get my signature pay out of this.

Hey guys, I again wrote to "David Ladner" on skype (previously we had contact every day), if he doesn't reply in next 12 hours I'll give up all the info I have (actually not much).

Upd:

Here's their coinsplit scheme https://coinsplit.io/scheme/623/

You can try tracking your coins with it.

Just in case real names weren't used (but borrowed), I found it odd to see two others espousing Bitcoin but not Bates. This revelation could signify as to why an early exit strategy was in order.

I'm sure both those identities are fake, and you should be careful to not harm innocent people while doing investigation (like someone was accusing me yesterday).

I'm going to sleep, will help you guys with everything I can tomorrow.

Sad to see this. Perhaps investors should request escrows to hold the money before any development is shown or the coin is released.

skype: live:david.p.ladner

Got some .php files of website, and a very long skype log. There's nothing interesting there, but I can provide it all to a trusted person.

maybe if heuristic don't comment there he'll gather btc as much as he can within 4 weeks period and more people will be scammed

I'm pretty surprised it was going on so long before he was questioned. I only noticed because he tried to get XMR backers by posting in our thread using Fluffy's name as collateral.

I feel bad for all those that got scammed by yet another shitcoin. I was one of the first few who had doubts in Ophion in the ann thread. Do we have any way to track them down now that it is established as a scam and run?

Has anyone even been actually paid? Translators, advertisers, designers, anyone paid or owed fiat/cryptos wanna chip in?
