Bitcoin or Ethereum ?

It is a dishonour to Bitcoin to compare Ethereum with it, I'm not trying to ridicule Ethereum but it has miles to go before it attain Bitcoin status, there is a reason why Bitcoin is valued $770 and ETH $8.50

Bitcoin is limited to 21 millions while 16 millions are already mined.
I don't know if eth is limited (I think it's not), and there are already 87 millions mined in way less time than bitcoin.
So comparing those two in a matter of price per coin does not work.
It's more the market capitalization that count's I think. And here leads bitoin as well with a big big advance!

Yeah , You're right . And also in every week we are listening about the ether's new new things ( hard fork ) that is making this altcoin famous in the online market but in actuality hard like things gives the lot of tension in the mind of ether trader .

That is never going to happen that bitcoin would go down and Ethereum will be the one who is going to rise in all of the cryptocurrencies because it is really impossible. Bitcoin is a solid coins in all of the cryptocurrencies because it have the highest price and also living longer than Ethereum. Maybe if you said that Ethereum would go to zero and bitcoin would be the future, then I am going to agree with you with all of my heart and soul.

As of now ethereum can't catch up to the milestone of bitcoins.  It is understood because ethereum is still young compared to bitcoin being around for more many years than ethereum.  Aside from that, it seem that ethereum technology is not well planned or probably they are not as competent at developer of bitcoin.  In just a short period of time there are several fork already done to ethereum that somehow hurt it that much.  I would have choose bitcoin at this point but who knows maybe in 10 or 20 years ethereum can be a worthy competitor of bitcoin in terms of mass adoption and popularity.

You are right but well everyone has its own decision and we cant convinced them directly on this matter since we do have different perspectives onto these coins. If i had to choose i will definitely go to bitcoin rather than on ethereum since no altcoin could able to surpass bitcoins in any ways and my trust will be on bitcoin only.

It may be more risky, but the potential for gains is also higher. Ethereum has a market cap of less than $1Bn, while Bitcoin is valued at $12+Bn. Even if ETH gets to half of Bitcoin's value, we can make huge profits. But then, it is your judgement, about whether ETH has that potential

Yes, I don't see Etherum would relplace bitcoin.
The foundation and the volume of bitcoin would keep the bitcoin to remain for a century or decades.
Am looking forward for that and curious what decentrelized coin will replace bitcoin.

I would go for both, many are depending on the market cap of both coins. No doubt that bitcoin is the leading of all the crypto currencies. But with ETH still it has a good future that can be next to bitcoin though it is also good for trading. And if we are just going to base in the market cap, both coins has the promising value of them all.

Both bitcoin and ethereum are good actually and the price for Ethereum also good too. I think Ethereum can be the next bitcoin if someday bitcoin fall. If i must pick, i rather pick bitcoin than Ethereum.

if profit is all you are looking for then ethereum has been better but it has been better only for a short while exactly like many other altcoins. they are manipulated so they can get pumped easily and give us profit.

bitcoin however is the long term reliable thing that we can be sure our money is going to be safe in it.

In fact, given the quality of bitcoin is clear when the price decreases eth. Well, eth will never compete with bitcoin in some ways, in fact, all users altcoin different, definitely use, and prefer bitcoin. yah, bitcoin is the best of all cryptocurrency coins. moreover, for the moment, where the bitcoin prices are rising.
