wheres the daily dividend coming from, when there's not much bump on this thread
Well, to be honest, this forum is not the best way to advertise our site. First, there are a lot of dubious offers on this forum, especially in this very section. Second, most forums users apparently even lack the financial power to gamble on our site. Our minimum bet is 1mBTC, while the average forum users seems to prefer to gamble with dust (less than a few hundred satoshis). I guess the really wealthy forum members prefer to risk their coins on a guaranteed loss by buying overpriced mining gear and some unprofitable mining contracts. Therefor since over a year ago we use mostly other ways to advertise our site. And as you can see on our site this works quite well And we will add a few new cool features to our site in the very near future, so stay tuned

We think trust comes with time. There are a lot of people that are using our services since more than a year and these already know that we are trustworthy.

It's less that they're "poor" - most Bitcoin users do have at least some quantity of Bitcoin, whether it's a few bucks or a few thousand bucks. It's that with such a long period of hiatus (from this thread at least) trust drops significantly.

Just asking, you trust a service more that does a daily bump in here than one that is in business since ages? It seems one never stops learning...

Not necessarily daily, but with news/announcements at least every 2 or 3 days. Ideally over time bumps aren't required due to the postings of other people.

Not necessarily daily, but with news/announcements at least every 2 or 3 days. Ideally over time bumps aren't required due to the postings of other people. Every 2 or 3 days? I lol'd. At that rate it would have been necessary for us to announce about 200 things since we have started PLAYTIN. We are not one of those countless ponzi sites that can announce a restart every 2 days. To be honest, I think that exactly this assumption that a service/member that does post a lot is trustworthy makes this forum a paradise for scammers. Sadly this assumption is even encouraged here by leveling up the accounts based on the number of posts. Back to topic, since the huge majority of our customers does not come from this very forum we guess almost no one posts about it in here. About a year ago we figured that the most vocal players are those that after playing thousands of free games maybe bet a single hopping 1 mBTC (min bet), while the others usually bet very very significantly higher and plays at least thousands of rounds. Just run the actual numbers for the average bet amount and was amazed. So yes, we still think that the average forum poster is either "poor" or does not gamble/invest at all, so why again do you think we should we try to get those? Anyway, we have significantly increased our presence in this forum in the last few weeks, we will see if it makes any difference at all.

Playtin is 100% right. I learned a long time ago that this subforum brings hardly any traffic, and as playtin confirms, the overwhelming majority plays nanostakes and sends you 10 emails because his deposit hasn't arrived after 5 minutes cause he doesn't understand blockchain confirmations.
Look at SatoshiBet's topic, hardly 5 pages, yet we probably are in the top 5 casinos ranked on turnover. Anyway, to conclude, the gambling section of bitcointalk is mostly useless for marketing. To the casinos who use shills to bump their thread all day; you guys have no clue what you're doing.

Interesting. Well, you're entitled to your own opinion - at the end of the day I'm not the one running a casino so I guess you'd be more knowledgeable.

We are actively avoiding this case by having a minimum bet of 1 mBTC and accepting 0 confirmation. Still we had a lot of cases where customers have no clue that 0.0001 BTC is actually 0.1 mBTC and not 1 mBTC. Look at SatoshiBet's topic, hardly 5 pages, yet we probably are in the top 5 casinos ranked on turnover. Anyway, to conclude, the gambling section of bitcointalk is mostly useless for marketing. Now that we wrote this all, I sort of regret spilling the beans. Hopefully no one ever reads it...
