0.0001 btc per coin should be (and is) a fair price for it.
(btw, as everyone knows, when an exchange for a "new" coin opens, price always goes up(such exchange is rumored))

You should be buying up all the BBQ since these prices are well below what you're calling "fair value." Instead you're just laughing about how cheap they are. Why is that?

Dude i have so many that i have no room for more lol
My advice is make another thread same as this one, and grab as many as you want(or buy from me on my thread)

Ppl seem to like auctions for some reason and always bid moar, but check on bbq forum, or on bbq thread about current rate, some even sell 1k bqc for 1.1btc
Always keep in mind that when the rumored exchanges open, you will at least double your investment, dont take my word on that, but that usually happens when a "new" coin is added on an exchange

This auction will show the "real" current worth of BBQcoin.

Auctions do not show the value imo.

1300  Looks like the auction is heating up!

Current price is now 0.00456  per each.

BBQ has surpassed the following.

PPC/BTC    0.00232002
IXC/BTC    0.00012500
DVC/BTC    0.00000143

It's on the tail of

TRC/BTC    0.00470000
&
NMC/BTC    0.00650003

It has yet to even go on an exchange.

Sth, seems wrong here, or i am rich and simply dont know it? lol

I think there was a miscalculation somewhere.  Current price in this auction makes the price of a BQC worth .000243.  Clearly higher than DVC and IXC, but still much less than PPC.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

This auction will show the "real" current worth of BBQcoin.

I think a better source of data would be daily 24 auctions, perhaps for 1 LTC apiece.

At the moment there are a lot of sell orders for BBQcoin but hardly any buy orders, so how can its worth be calculated.

The worth is normally determined by how much someone actually buys something for, not how much people try to sell it for.

Does anyone know of any confirmed trades involving BQC yet?

I've done quite a few with iamrickrock at roughly 10,000 BQC for 5 LTC but the LTC market was different then and BQC seems to be gaining in interest (difficulty has increased and there are more people looking to buy it) so I have no idea how to translate the current market rate from the then market rate while compensating for the fact that they are now harder to mine than they were.

I sold 10K BQC for 1.5 BTC in an auction here that ended last night - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177607.0

I also sold 20K in a private IM right after the auction to someone (they can speak up if they wish) for 3 BTC. These are actual sales that the buyers and I were happy with. I think this is a fair price right now. If/when they go to an exchange the prices will probably rise but for now these are real world sales. If someone wants to ask more that is their right and good luck to them but let's be reasonable with our prices, BQC is still fairly easy to mine even at the rising difficulty.

Fine, anyone else want to buy lots of 10,000 BBQcoin at 1.5 BiTCoin per 10,000 BBQcoin?

I can do up to a few hundred thousand at those prices. Maybe 500,000 or more.

I believe (and I am sorry if I am wrong) CaptChadd is not really interested in buying coins, he just want to keep bbqcoin as active topic, to see how many people are interested to jump in and maybe try to pump the price a little bit or at least trying to establish it out of nowhere.

See 1000bbq=1btc is ridicolous today, I am not even sure 10K is a fair exchange.
who knows about tomorrow  Huh

I mostly agree with that statement.

Back to the original topic of this tread; My offer of 1300 bbqcoins for 10 litecoins still stands.  Heck I'll even outbid myself.  I now offer:
1400 bbqcoins.

That would be buying them at an average of 1.5 BTC per 10,000 BQC, am I right?

I put this thread over a month ago, I just noticed I did not even put a timescale on it.
