If fiat currencies are halal, then bitcoin is also halal. Bitcoin is pure technology.  Discovered as a result of research and knowledge.
"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

when it comes to the question, is Bitcoin mining halal or haram? Generally speaking, we can say that there is nothing haram about it if you purchase your own mining rig and you have your own equipment or let's just say you are paying someone else to cloud mine for you but you actually can, maybe you can go to their house or their apartment and you can actually look at the mining rig itself and you trust this person and you know that you are actually receiving Bitcoins from their cloud mining process.

Halal or Haram   Huh
If Bitcoin BTC From the results Faucet, Mining, Giveaway, And Gambling placed in the same wallet  Huh
Please lightening and further explanation before astray Grin
Thanks before  Wink

Greetings HunterBTC

Let me be clarified a little. If gambling is haram, is the money used for it is also considered haram? Meaning, gambling money will not be accepted by people sharing your belief? If yes, then the Bitcoins used for gambling should also be the same. But I don't think all the Bitcoins in the same wallet that are earned cleanly and properly will also be considered haram. That would not be fair. It is like saying some money in the central banks are used for illegal activities therefore all the money are dirty and are haram.

Yes - precisely.  Once 'dirty' Haram bitcoin gets on the blockchain, then all the of blockchain gets infected and becomes Haram.  The Imam said it clearly: Bitcoin is Haram.  Followers of true Islam need not try to discover which bitcoin is Haram - because the entire blockchain became Haram.  The whole system supports evil.  Stay away.

I think bitcoin is halal because you dont do anything bad to earn bitcoin.
Everything is haram if you earn in not a right way. As long you are in the right path, it is no problem.

The same wallet to keep bitcoin, will not make bitcoin to be haram. However, there are 2 perceptions about this opinion:
- Bitcoin will halal if we use it positively and the bitcoin that we get from the faucet, mining and giveaway are halal.
- Bitcoin will haram if we abuse it, such as gambling, hacking, buying stolen goods from the black market, etc.

I answered the bitcoin was halal because I do not use bitcoin for gambling or the aspects that will make bitcoin haram. I use it for trading and sometimes for charity.

Bitcoin as Business:

If we think Bitcoin as business basis of Islam, Islam says which business have chance of lose thats are halal. Someone can says illegal Business also have risk is that halal?- No its not. From that view you have to proof bitcoin is Illegal and We all know now a days Bitcoin Going Popular and its Legal. If someone say that bitcoin use for crime, Than my answer is Doller, Euro , Rupes, Taka, Yuan also use for bad or crime , are they all haram? Every Currency can uses for tow ways , one is going toward Good and another one is bad. We have to decide Which one we will choose.

Bitcoin as Asset:
My view Bitcoin is Asset for me. If I buy some land , I know its will give me a lot of money in future, Besides this its could be lose in future also. My view is same about Bitcoin. If I collect some BTC , I know its will make my future.

So My point of view BITCOIN is Halal.

I think it's back on everyone's confidence. If you are a good person then use bitcoin for things that are useful and not used for crime.
So the problem of Halal or haram is back again to ourselves, and this is an option.

do you refer to gambling?
I think bitcoin is not gambling, gambling is when we put a bet then we lose then we will lose all that tauhan (obviously this is haram or gamble) but not with bitcoin if we buy 1 bitcoin then bitcoin price then we will not lose 1 bitcoin us, it means legal bitcoin alone in the eyes of religion.
different again if bitcoin is peppered with gambling such as trading options it is clear that trading refers to gambling

basically all that how we use and where to get it. because I get the bitcoin wage from the right job. so in my opinion it is halal, because of my kerigat results. but to gamble or nuyul like that, back to himself and in accordance with their respective beliefs. because obviously, I will always look for halal bitcoin.

Fintech according to Sharia
There are unique needs of Muslims when it comes to banking and finance.

The Islamic Canonical Law, popularly known as Sharia is based on the teachings of the Quran and prohibits certain activities such as acceptance of specific interest which is considered usury (Riba) or investments in businesses which are contrary to Islamic acceptance for example alcohol.

Recent interest in Islamic banking has risen with even the International Monetary Fund’s executive board holding the first ever discussion on Islamic Banking.

Fintech and developments around Blockchain have been taking the world by the storm. The rise of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and developments in Blockchain have also touched the Islamic world.

In fact, the UAE has already got a Bitcoin exchange by the name of BitOasis and they also offer services like a Bitcoin Wallet. BitOasis also offers services in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. There are also services in the APAC region like Bitcoin Indonesia and Coinbox in Malaysia that offer Bitcoin-related services.

What does Islam think about Bitcoin?
According to the paper “Bitcoin in Islamic Banking and Finance” by Charles W. Evans,

“The relationship between a distributed, autonomous Blockchain management systems (BMS) like Bitcoin—also referred to as a 'virtual currency'—and Islamic Banking and Finance (IBF). It shows that a BMS can conform with the prohibition of riba (usury)—as Bitcoin does—and incorporate the principles of maslaha (social benefits of positive externalities) and mutual risk-sharing (as opposed to risk-shifting). With regard to maslaha, the world's unbanked number in the billions and represent the majority of the world's adults.”

Is Bitcoin Halal? Yes but modern currencies are not
In order to deeply understand this topic, we talked with Matthew J. Martin of Blossom Finance, a fintech startup based in Indonesia.

Blossom Finance offers microfinance services that help entrepreneurs and small businesses. Matthew is a Muslim American based out of Indonesia and has worked with fintech startups like Boku and Xoom in the past. He told us that Bitcoin can be considered both a currency and a payment network and this distinction is important because the Sharia principles that apply vary.

I am not a religious guy but I think that it is just the same as money, so if those money came from a gambler to a honest guy, can we say that they are filthy or dirty because that? And all of my wallet become dirty?

For me Bitcoin is like gold, I like investing in any stock. for example, I bought Bitcoin for $ 5000 and now Bitcoin is $ 6500, so I sell it because the price is already profitable. and I was lucky $ 1500. after that the price dropped back to $ 6000 and then I bought it. but the price dropped to $ 5500. If I sell it at that price, I will lose, so I hold it to touch the high price. that's an example of a Bitcoin trade that is always up and down. it's different from gambling, because gambling is detrimental, when we play and we lose, then our money will run out. then gambling is haram. different from Bitcoin trading. if the price drops our money will not run out, we wait for prices to rise again.
So in my opinion if Bitcoin is used for positive things the Bitcoin law is lawful according to the law.

Lets not make religion belief into bitcoin.

Bitcoin is cryptocurrency decentralized one and everybody has right to use their money where they want to use. Thats why everybody love bitcoin if you like to watch porn, do gambling, buy hosting, car, house, dinner etc whatever for bitcoin it is free to do so. No any halal or haram like statement is needed for bitcoin.
Very good opinion and I think a bit about bitcoin which is related to religion.
It is true that btcoin is not related to both halal and hope religion because basically bitcoin is present in the world to meet the needs of many people and facilitate the economy of many people to be good but if it is associated with religion then it all depends on using it to make the right path or to the wrong way because actually bitcoin is not related to religion.
