Iceland has been such a great story and I am rooting for them. I just think France will be much to much for them. Plus this is a common let down spot
after the huge win. Hard to imagine they were 100% focused on france after that win vs England. Also even if Iceland loses their country is already happy

The most nervous penalty shootout i ever seen , even my legs are still shaking right now. Few players that i thought they could score but they couldn't.
Germany finally beat Italy in major tournament. So Germany semifinals have been set,  now it down to France or Iceland.

Yeah lol. I also so damn sweaty watch this pinalty live and unfortunately Italy lose on that pinalty. I bet on Italy though, but congrats to Germany for qualify to the semi finals.

I am not so sure about certain win of France anymore. Tomorrow's match could be awfully similar to Iceland v England or Wales v Belgium matches.
Both these matches were advertised as totally safe, clear winner and 'easy' opponent type of game (Iceland was @9) - and in the end we all know what happened.

Although France is the favorite I don't believe it will be that easy for them. Iceland has a very tough defence and they play with passion, on the other hand France is full of talent but their players don't seem capable of working as a team. To me a draw is quit possible.

Also Iceland +1.5(1.64) and Iceland +2(1.25) have good odds considering the risks, I doubt Iceland will lose by more than 1 goal, and will be almost impossible, in my opinion, that they lose by 3 or more goals difference

Certainly the longest penalty shootout series I have ever seen myself. They need whole 9 sets of penalties to determine the winner.
I wonder why more players did not realize that the best way to score a penalty kick it to hit hard right in the center - as goalkeeper is never standing still.

No way he would play in the russian league and I don't think the next Euro will be in Russia.

Iceland has actually made some surprise during the group stage as well by qualifying to the next round and endland has had dissapointing performance during the group stage so if you think it all over again, it is not really that surprising to see them actually lose their match against iceland but france is on the whole different league

If germany will be facing iceland on the semifinal then they will win easily however if it is france than it wont be easy for them. In fact they almost to italy if only few of the itallian player didnt miss their penalty they they are done for sure. As for wales and portugal, the winner of this match couldnt really be decided based on their performance as both are just decent
