In a straight up swindle, this was a while ago now, but I don't think this Scam Accusation sub-forum existed then. He claimed to have good feedback (which he didn't show me, and turns out didn't exist) and baited me into sending BTC first. He never sent payment, and stopped responding to messages.

Before the forum existed? I don't think you're going to have much luck.

Before the Scam Accusations sub-forum existed, not before the entire forum existed. I'll get the exact date.

It was October 03, 2012 that the BTC were sent.

Here's his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=65081

I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to scam people using an alt. Mods should ban on IP and not allow posting from behind Tor or proxy, imo. It would cut down on scams.

Here are two threads I created about it previously:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=121293.msg1307058

It looks like I'm not the only one he scammed:

I need to rate RB26DETT -10 for stealing 33 BTC from me and lying about having a rating before the transaction.

Hey!

I'm sorry for your loss. I think I lost about 10 coins to him as well from BTCJam. I should have rated him sooner; may have saved you from this loss :-(. I just wrote a rating for him, though.
