I just read that not only Messi and Mascherano, also Agüero, Higuain, Biglia and more retiring from international football. This could be a disaster for Argentina. It's so sad to see they went to the 4 finals and didn't win even one of them.
Argentina will be in crisis if the star players like messi aguero and higuain decided to retire from international football they are great strikers hard to find a same player like them. Not sure the next argentina can go to another final without them. Even if they announced that they are retiring, whenever the country needs them they will still play for their country. Zidane retired as well from the france team but he went for another world cup when the country needs him. This is all just a decision made of frustation, once they think clearly they will be cancelling their decision Yeah you are right. I think Argentina will try seduce Messi to play again for the next tournament because Argentina need Messi to help them win a tournament. Messi is the soul of the argentinian team so without him they wont be able to win it as easily as of now. Although some people do believe that without messi, argentina will finaly win something but without him I doubt that argentina will be getting chance to get on the final for the international match |

Yes it is surprising result Chile defended this very well and made Argentina helpless into this final match, i think it is like a huge shock Chile will win this match without conceding a goal there, that is really bad Messi will leave the international soccer this bad result.

Although Messi missed the chance to make score a goal on penalty shoot but i also think that is not a so big reason to give up at this stage, in fact Chile played out of imagination into this final game and let Argentina helpless there, even i lost my bet there but Chile deserve to win this match and title.

Off course lot of Argentina and Messi fans disappointed that Messi failed to score a goal. He is world class player, so I never thought that he miss like that. What to do it's Argentina bad luck. Yeah I guess it because his teammates have wasted too many chances, especially by Higuain. He did his best for the team. It was unfortunate and he became emotional and took decision of retiring which I personally do not support. Argentina is brilliant team but it will loose an asset in the form of Lionel Messi. |
