Is Satoshi Nakamoto really the founder of bitcoin? Then why he did not show in public? What do you think the reason maybe? He might be a billionaire by now if he showed his true identity in public.
Yes with all information and news that I read satoshi Nakamoto is the founder bitcoin. I think there are two reasons why he did not reveal himself in public. First : as we know bitcoin currency is hated by many governments around the world, and as we know bitcoin is desetralisasi. So did not recognize satoshi Nakamoto I guess to avoid the intervention from the government. Second : when bitcoin turned into a scam then satoshi Nakamoto will be safe and free from the law instead, but of course I did not expect this thing happen thank you

Yes satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin, He just want to be anonymous, no one know him, he just want to hide himself from the public. I think for safety purposes. He might be kidnap or rob

Everyone here who says that Satoshi sold reveal himself is most likely a kid. They don't understand the dangers of publicity, and even creating something like bitcoin. You could bring down companies and markets, and people you want knocking on your door.
You could be an assassination target.

who cares about the founder of bitcoin! bitcoin is an open source technology which means it belongs to everyone and since there are many developers working on it now they are the creators of the new bitcoin (i am talking about the new code and the changes)

Yes satoshi does, i don't have any objections with that. But he should not show personal indentations on public because it will potentially give bad affect with satoshi real life mainly with assets safety or own life. So satoshi nakamoto have good decision to make her/his self keep anonymous.

Is Satoshi Nakamoto really the founder of bitcoin?
Yes. Then why he did not show in public? What do you think the reason maybe?
Why would he? He would most likely be in life-threatening danger if he did. He might be a billionaire by now if he showed his true identity in public.
He doesn't have to show anything to the public. Anyhow, Bitcoin is not based on trust, nor any kind of authority. Who invented it does not matter at this point, nor does any know who Satoshi is. Awesome, good answer mr. Lauda, yes agree with you, satoshi is the founder of bitcoin, and he should not show his self to public, its dangerous for him and people around him,and also i hear that dorian Nakamoto also suggest same thing,he ask Satoshi to keep hidung.. but i wonder untuk when?its foverever we can't see the real Satoshi??

I am not sure Satoshi is the real founder of Bitcoin or not. but it doesn't matter, why should we waste our time to find founder of bitcoin when he himself want to be anonymous and don't publish his identify.. we believe on bitcoin and the current bitcoin rate, thats all for us.
If Satoshi was the real founder of bitcoin the he is probably no more.

So satoshi nakamoto have good decision to make her/his self keep anonymous. When Satoshi initially set up the bitcoin network he was the only person running the software so he mined all of the first bitcoins, about a million of them. Those coins are still there, you can see them on the blockchain, they haven't moved in years and everyone knows that they are Satoshi's coins. For someone to prove that they are Satoshi all they have to do is spend some of those coins.

And here we are again Nobody can answer this question. It can be even group of people or organization behind this name, we don't know. For me personally, much more important question is what we can do with Bitcoin? Can Bitcoin change our lives? How? I'm sure that founder of Bitcoin have very good reasons to hide his identity. So, let's focus on Bitcoin and more productive things.

I was watching with big interest that BBC guy the other day, thought it's him. Actually I still think it's him, but I know the majority of the community don't think so.

Is Satoshi Nakamoto really the founder of bitcoin? Yup satoshi nakamoto is founder of bitcoin. Then why he did not show in public? I think he have a reason why. Because if he public his name Many rubbers or bad guys want to find him. And they do bad things like kidnap for bitcoin ransom. What do you think the reason maybe? Because if he shown up many things that will happen bad things and good things but i think he have a simple life that he wants He might be a billionaire by now if he showed his true identity in public. I think he is quite billionaire that his family only know how much money he have.

Good luck with the IRS if he's going public.
, Interesting aspect, from what I know IRS classified bitcoin as a 'property' and not as 'currency'. In general the IRS is taking a cautious approach due to infancy of cryptocurrencies. So I wonder whetehr IRS could tax BTC and if yes, then 'how' huge bitcoin stash could be taxed? We have to remember that law is not retroactive.

Although most likely he is/they are not, the same will apply to any country. Where I am from, I shouldn't declare bitcoins I have mined. However, when I am going to sell them, I should declare the income for taxation. Therefore, if I was to declare that I hold 1.000.000 btc, they will watch and monitor any step I make.
