The problem with small transactions such as these is that they have essentially negative value. It will soon cost more to spend them than their face value is Tongue

You know, the miners will want their fees.

Perhaps Deepbit can help you track down the sender so you can thank them?

On 2012-08-01 at 20:30:57
Deepbit sent 0.04154382 BTC to 1Cun9SCKDkmyhvQxrYnbaKf9fZNqyNxCQv with transaction a1179dfd1a7e2d35a5a0f23e9123764229f4c238dd70ed4d0c9a2776e5bca05f.

So they may be able to identify the entity that controls 1Cun9SCKDkmyhvQxrYnbaKf9fZNqyNxCQv

Then on 2013-02-20 at 15:30:23
1Cun9SCKDkmyhvQxrYnbaKf9fZNqyNxCQv sent 0.5 BTC to 1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG with transaction 1122db1f36d48335c4fe3217188a8295724a4b948f13f5caa32fc8fd67d43e1c.

If Deepbit doesn't control 1Cun9SCKDkmyhvQxrYnbaKf9fZNqyNxCQv, then they should know who does.
If Deepbit does own/control 1Cun9SCKDkmyhvQxrYnbaKf9fZNqyNxCQv then they know who controls 1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG

I hope it is the right forum for this question.
It started approximately a week ago.
My wallet is on blockchain.info.
Once per day approximately, I would receive 0.00000005 BTC.
I don't know who is sending, I don't know why.
It started happening all of a sudden.
Any ideas what can it be?

hold fast in about 1200 years you can trade it in for a USD Penny

Question, why is the address 1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG highlighted in orange?

It indicates that it is the input that I clicked on to find where it was used as an output.  For anyone who might be curious here's the chain of transactions.  If you look at any of the transactions, it's pretty obvious that the addresses listed below are just change addresses where BTC are being sent back to the same entity that is in control of 1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG.

1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG receives 0.5 BTC

which is the first transaction in that chain where I see your address 1PhKfcoFJbgfPcCPYih1RtWJWdYkmE2p4K

So you are receiving those bitcoins at 1PhKfcoFJbgfPcCPYih1RtWJWdYkmE2p4K from whoever is in control of 1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG.

I wonder if it possible to find out who is this "1JYvvL67LrSGCG77cy4rmpUXCFfSub4JkG" fellow.
I guess I will never find out of Bitcoin's anonymity and all.

How would this be possible? since you can't know if the previous owner really destroyed his copy of private key.
