Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.
I think https://haobtc.com is bank of bitcoin, they give us interest if we put bitcoin on their service. Yes,it has the same function like the bank, but I think like to call this wallet because https://haobtc.com/ only have a little difference with another wallet. I searching information on internet bitcoin is not have a bank for now.

Personally I think Bitcoin don't need to be deposited in banks because we have bitcoin online wallets or cold storage where we could send and receive bitcoin. And for that reason I see no need for us to store bitcoins in bank.

Maybe one day you will be able to deposit your Bitcoins into a bank, but why would you want to do that in the first place? Bitcoin is it's own bank.

I dont think bitcoin should be deposited on banks , on my opinion because why you need bank , when you own your own bank , no need to give your information, you can send and receive bitcoins any time , although on banks you need lot stuff to send and receive.

there are wallets like coinbase that act like a bank for you (although without the profit part if that is what you are looking for) but it is not a good idea to use them. the difference in bitcoin with money is that you own the bitcoin as long as you have the private keys so in order to deposit in something like a bank you have to give up the owning private keys which will require fully trusting a third party with your money.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Well, if I understand the entire purpose of bitcoin correctly, it is to decentralize and have a trustless payment processor. If you have bitcoin banks, then it will betray the entire purpose of bitcoin. There are already bank like sites out there, whether legit or not. Like magnr.

Bitcoin have totally independent and most flexible for the payment system so in coming future in my opinion the banks may use bitcoins as a major currency for online banking system no doubt in it !!

I think https://haobtc.com is bank of bitcoin, they give us interest if we put bitcoin on their service. Haobtc is technically not a bank. Their income is generated from a mining farm so it is basically a cloud mining site. A bank on the other hand, uses the interest from the loans to pay their user. A similar service that does this is BTCJam although i wouldn't use them. It is just my opinion and if we put bitcoin on their service and get interest so it is bank of bitcoin.

why would anybody want to put their bitcoin in a bank or a bank for bitcoin?! putting your bitcoin in a bank means losing control over you money, the control that bitcoin gave you and you are giving it up for nothing, if you want banks you should use fiat not bitcoin.

i dont see any reason i need to put my coin in the bank, if i put my coin in the bank then I lost one of the main reason i used bitcoin which is anonymity, when you store your coin in the bank you will lose ability to control your money, so I wont suggest anyone to put their coin in the bank

That will only be possible if banks will add bitcoin in their list of accepted currencies. But why wait for that? Other bitcoin exchanges especially the local one in your country uses bank services for us people to get some bitcoin and that is presently active here in our country. Hope your country too has a service like that.

i think it is going to become possible in the future. not because it is a good thing but because bitcoin is a good thing and will grow in the future so banks would want in on this market and the profits that come with it so they will add such feature to their services. but that would be useless because what bitcoin does is that it helps you not need any banks to keep your bitcoin and do it all yourself.

It is now happening in our country! We have an online bitcoin wallet that is affliated with various banks. We can also pay bills using our wallet. Transaction fee is actually low to none. The best wallet in my opinion.

Maybe it could happen someday, but banks need to accept bitcoin first and if the banks have interest for bitcoins, i'm sure many people will save their bitcoins in the bank.

I think it could happen in a country where the government hasn't banned it. I don't see why they couldn't accept it just like fiat. I think a bank that did this could be on the cutting edge for banking in the future.

That's probably not going to happen because in actuality, the banks would just never profit if that's the case because you can easily track of the transactions the banks are doing to your money and that's one thing banks wouldn't do. Transparency, they say.
