Yes banks might provide such option to deposit or withdraw bitcoins but I don’t see any reason to store it in banks. You can always have paper wallet or other cold storage hardware on your fingertips. It would be good to send or receive bitcoins through banks but I won’t keep it in banks because I have more secured and trustworthy options. Right now if one is not feeling secured then he can deposit his paper wallet or hardware wallet in bank lockers but won’t be able to claim any interest as one is not actually depositing any money through bank point of view.
Couple things: If big, reputable bank would allow people to deposit bitcoin, two things would happen - bitcoin price rise and masses of people trying to deposit bitcoin. People at this point are so deeply rooted in corporate banking reality that they can't think clearly anymore. For people banks = better security. Even though bitcoin stored by individuals in a responsible way is proven to be more effective way ( see: never ending series of "exchange hacks").

Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.
It can be possible in the future if banks can accept to implement the bitcoin inter-fracture in to their banking system I if this can be possible i will love it

I think it is possible, and could probably be safer for us depositor... If they have a physical bank, then they will be under the eyes of the government, and they have no reason to run or else they will be violating a law, I think that would give a good link between the government and bitcoin.. But, most probably, it would take more than a debate for government to accept it... That would take many years...

That's true. To overcome the features as well access available in banking system digital currencies came into existence. Now if bitcoin gets used in banking, its uniqueness gets vanished. For this reason bitcoin in the banks is truly difficult.

Beside the fact that it will nevever happen, we also don't need it to happen, and shouldn't want it to happen. We are our own banks for once. We should be happy that Bitcoin gives us this opportunity.

Yes, this is possible. Invest BTC in banks can be new service for bank clients. The problem can be - what will be the ROI of such bank BTC deposit ? And probably banks can not solve this in nearest future, because then they must find where to invest BTC.

Wow this topic again!!!! It is not possible to treat bitcoin like a currency as there are no physical bitcoin. How ever it might come as a ray of hope to you that you can store private keys in a bank. But I like many of us hope that bitcoin could be used in banks.

Banks are also secured, if you loose your money then you can claim bank and you will get back your money while in case of bitcoin account, if someone hack your account then whom you claim or blame for your money?? So i think both are secured and have their own importance. And if bitcoin is place in banks then we have collect bitcoins from banks and use where we want and one thing more if it is happen then bitcoin is accepted in stores also.

how can you say that bitcoin wallet is secured ? do you remember the time that some of bitcoin wallet was hacked by someone ? i think bank is more secured than bitcoin wallet because if someone stall your money you can investigate it by reporting it on the agents of the banks where your money are deposited, and how if your bitcoin stall by someone ? what are you going to do ? nothing because you don't know what to do and you are going to watch your bitcoin losing/stealing from your wallet

I don't see any reason why we have to store our bitcoin in banks, while our bitcoin wallets are banks itself where we store our coins and it will depends to the owner of the bitcoin if what kind of wallet he/she will use a desktop, hardware, or a web wallet. Just make sure that wallet is trusted enough to store your coins because its all about money, a money online.
