You're not really asking a question, but I'll assume you're looking for the pros and cons of each cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin: Pros: -First cryptocurrency to really take off -Strong community -High value -Lots of hashing power and thus relative security -Lots of services and accepted in a lot of places
Cons: -Slightly long transaction time -Blocks might be small
Ethereum: Pros: -Favors coders -New and relatively highly valued -Strong Dev base
Cons: -Favors coders -Not widely accepted -More centralized than Bitcoin
There's probably more but I don't know what they are for right now.

ETH vs etc What your problem?you can't compare btc with eth, eth is including alt coin. BTC is a mother of the coin can give a value to alt coin. Are you serious to compare the main cryptocurrency and alt coins?

BTC is still king. There's already so much investment built around BTC that it has very much a life of its own. Any fall in price is immediately supported and bought by the people waiting in the sidelines to hold long term. LONG TERM. It has become an asset that people are willing to store like gold.

BTC has a hard limit, therefore arguably built to be a strong store of value - digital gold etc Ethereum's monetary policy not yet set in stone, inflationary as things stand, tbd BTC probably will be the better asset to save in long-term, without taking anything away from the utility that E brings

ETH vs btc Well, Ethereum is an altcoin, and could be said to be based off the idea of bitcoin. While bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency around, and so far definitely the safest and most adopted cryptocurrency around. I believe that bitcoin is better than eth though, simply because eth is a likely pump and dump scheme.

-More centralized than Bitcoin
You are kidding right ? It is well known that very few individuals in china make up 70%+ of the bitcoin hashrate and that will most likely increase to over 90% after the halving. Right now 90% of the bitcoin is traded in CNY, another hard proof https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/btc/analysis/USDEvery crypto out there is somewhat centralized, trying to perfectly decentralize something is impossible, especially mining since lower electricity= more miners/hashrate. Ethereum is far from being centralized, especially since chinese cannot farm it with the asics they build with 50$ and sell for 2000$+ like in the case of bitcoin, litecoin and many others. P.S: 99.5% of LTC volume is permanently changing chinese hands, they're artificially trying to keep the prices up to atract more fools. Proof: 99.5% of LTC is traded in CNY currency https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/ltc/analysis/BTC , lol talk about centralization.

Other one is "the one true cryptocurrency" and the other one is a platform for distributed applications. So there is no "vs" between them!

Well Ethereum is a Platform after all, not a coin. I think nothing will get the throne from Bitcoin soon, but there for sure will be other coins/platforms that will go hand to hand with it. We will see how ETH will do in the near future - it's still new and has potential, but I can't compare it to Bitcoin...

I don't know the numbers (does anyone? ), but I'd say bitcoin's community is ENORMOUS compared to ethereum's. That in and of itself is all the comparison you need. I'm not sure exactly what eth is going to turn out to be in the crypto space, but right now bitcoin is where it's at. It's like comparing btc to ltc or doge or waves.
Could change and probably will. I just don't have the stomach for putting any significant money into altcoins for the long term.

You are so right, but from mine point of view we should NEVER FORGET eth is PREMINED 72M from Vitalik ass! also some big problem from my point is centralization due huge primene on top of that ethereum is waiting few hard forks to some future concept upgrade to POS and we know nothing of it security and usability

eth movement and quality on the market right now is so incredible. there is some chance that speculated that eth can beat bitcoin. however I still believe bitcoin will still be the best because bitcoin is the origin of the digital coin.

Eth has potential to beat bitcoin in the near future if bitcoin will be hold or stop at proce rising.Eth is just like bitcoin when it started.Eth can be a candidate to beat bitcoin in the market as well as ltc because both of them are good coins and good devs like what bitcoin have.Eth is continous rising from tine to time, but as of now bitcoin is still over eth but in the near future eth may be at the same line whete bitcoin is

ETH will be one of the coins where ppl might store their profits from upcoming bitcoin rise. In short, first btc will rise high, then when it(if) it reaches bubble stage, money will go into alts instead of fiat. imho ofc.

They are not against each other, no need for comparison since both of them will definitely succeed in the long run.

I haven't explore Ethereum yet but I like your comparison it seems transparent enough although not complete,Ethereum is still a work of progress and a lot of great are to come on this crypto currency so in short period of time we will see more pros and lessen cons than Bitcoin..
