You think this based on what? Detailed research you have made? Crystal ball told you?

Be serious and do not deceive people. There is practically no development team behind this coin anymore. There were no relevant updates for ages...and yet you still dare to say that you think that this coin will achieve success and good results? Shocked It is like saying that zombie will win at jump at height on Olympics Roll Eyes

which one is working? I tried win32 version, file is not running (message: not a win32 application)
I installed the wallet for win64 all ok

I also downloaded 64 bit version, all works fine - I think.

I transfered VCASH from bittrex to this adress wallet from application but it was 2 days ago and coins still are not there.

I see in application that: Downloading blocks and actual ratio is around 40%...this is the problem or my money lost?

Scam

True, it even got delisted from Bittrex. Now it is only listed on Poloniex, but even there the wallet and withdrawals are disabled for many moths.

The irony is that the team made some "big announcements" in December and November 2017...then nothing come of that. Well something did...the price pumped...so someone obviously did make some big money then. Do the math Roll Eyes Cool

I find it crazy that someone invented a way to make a coin with no confirmations and then abandoned it.

So do you think XVC is really a scam or just an issue that is trying to drop the XVC name?

  hello asdkzxn199,
the vcash bc is 2.62 gB

to run an incentivised node, send 10,000 or more vcash in one tx, to the default address of your wallet,

then open config.dat from the dada dir, to discover what port you listen on, (you can change it if you want to), and port forward it

  -while we're looking at config.dat, we need to turn off staking.  change:

 ""mining": {
        "proof-of-stake": "1""
to:

"mining": {
        "proof-of-stake": "0"

(you'll prolly want to cahnge that back occaisionally (at least once a year) to get your stake)

now open your wallet, let it sync, then unlock it.

wait about 15-20 minutes for the network to check your balance

click the gear, on the console tab, type getincentiveinfo[enter]

if you see "votecandidate": true  you can lock your wallet now, and done, & should see some income soon.   good luck!  Cheesy

Apparently there were some updates to the code recently (May 13 2018 - 5 days ago)

https://imgur.com/a/B3t8Iuk

but still despite the fact that this coin has amazing technological advantages i would consider it dead.
Poloniex purposely has the wallet offline for more than a year while bittrex delisted it......facts are not optimistic in here.

As Pon13 said, facts are not in favour of this coin. I think that this is why cryptocurrencies need some regulations. The developers of this coin and similar coins which were suddenly abandoned should be put in jail because of fraud Angry

I think that developers know exactly that they will dump the coin, so they made some "announcements" in November and December 2017 to pump the coin...my guess is that at the time they sold their coins, and by doing that cheated the investors who bought the coin at higher price, based on the fake announcements.

a large part of the coins are in cold wallets. and they never traded on exchanges after the departure of John. who owns these coins?
https://explorer.vcash.info/richlist
https://explorer.vcash.info/address/Vvi6srX5BSrXKbUPivpbuWG5Qo4p4LpzAj
https://explorer.vcash.info/address/VocXwXjdMJuv6cerbit9FBXkwp3ShgBxzk  etc
poloniex cold storage only 2800000xvc
https://explorer.vcash.info/address/Vm97M6Aryyfpdj3xA2FHq99FGZadMVsTkF

after the announcement of removal of the market from bittrex was withdrawing only  ~1500000xvc
https://explorer.vcash.info/movement

I think now in the cold wallet of the bittrex there is a maximum of 2000000xvc

2000000 + 1500000 + 2800000 = 6300000
15000000 - 6300000 = 8700000xvc
who held these coins why they did not trade?
why should a JC refuse a project that can bring him a lot of money? maybe most of the coins belong to jс and his investors. and he continues to work on the project in secret. he wants to show the full working coin. and all his actions were directed to punish the Brazilian manipulators.

do not forget what John said:
