Bitcoin Halving

It very close to the bitcoin halving. Do any big BTC holders have any intention of buying something with their BTC? Are any going to continue holding. One of my friends is planning on buying a phone. He has been storing up for a long time.

we will never know unless they tell us what are they going do to their btc, in my case i only hold several
btc it wouldnt hurt to sell half of it but i would definitely keep some of it. selling all of your coins after the
halving when the price is at its peak would be very foolish, keeping some of it will secure that you wont lose
profit incase the price of btc doesnt decrease.

I think it is better to sell them 6-12 months after the halving. The price could rise a lot if it is similar to last halving.

Well, it is just an assumption that the price will profit from the halving. Indeed, the price increased over the last weeks. It could be the foretaste for more increasing due to the halving. But all the halving speculation could already be priced in, so there could also be a price correction. It is a 50:50 chance for your friend.

Why would you wanna sell them? Hold them until the price is right, then by that point, you won't even need to cash out.

Majority of the bitcoin user especially those bitcoin traders holding their bitcoin for the incoming bitcoin halving to earn some more money. I said majority because not all of the bitcoin users have enough bitcoin to hold so other user try to grow their bitcoin by joining sig campaigns or trading altcoins.

You should continue to monitor the price if it is already very close to halving, because anything can happen, when high prices are rising so rapidly, it is always a dump.

Of course they have something they want to buy using their bitcoin.They are not investing for nothing they also have goals in their life and bitcoin i think is part of their businesses too.They are not holding for nothing.And they want to earn on holding it

just my opinion, holding your bitcoin , if bitcoin rising you can buy some good altcoin for long term, im sure some altcoin like ethereum, dash, maidasafe, doge etc. will be fail and that's good time to buy it

I think, BTC holder wants to hold their btc , not have any reason to sell their btc although price btc is got halving. Because they main purpose is not to only for short time but for a long time, At first they intention is for investment.

i will continue keeping my bitcoin until after the halving and if there is a very big rise that can make the price go so high up like above $1500 then and only then i will sell some of my bitcoin to gain some initial profit from my investment and after that i will continue holding

i don't have any special plans for buying anything but i do care about my purchasing power or in other words the price of bitcoin and how much money will i have by holding bitcoin.

and most of all i would like to see more adoption because of this rise so other places like steam start accepting bitcoin so i can spend bitcoin there.

I'm a very strong bitcoin holder myself, and I believe that bitcoin halving is going to do good for bitcoin. Although there might be a dump after the halving, I don't know. But my goal is to at least hold till halving.

Where will the price go? Nobody knows.

Yes of course everybody has a reason why they are hoarding/holdin and collecting bitcoins.First is for profit for their trading,because this halving its sure that bitcoins price will rise up so big profit if you risk and hold huge amount of bitcoins.Everybody has a goal on anything they are doing.

I am holding my coins too from some years back and awaiting for that moment for the increase in price like up to 800+ then I will exchange it with a real cash and will deposit in my bank and start my own new business

Still, I believe most of people wait for halving to pass and the dust to settle down. If the price goes up, it ll bring a lot of new people into crypto which is great cause it ll affect alts as well.

That is a good profit. Many people think that BTC may rocket up to  $700 AU. Other, better still, at $1000 AU after the halving. Man, I would probably sell your BTC in the upcoming halving. It is probably the best time. (until next year of course)
