So I've been using Antpool for quite a while now, and I don't recall having this problem before. At least, not as much as this...

What I'm seeing on the antpool worker readout, is a high number of "other" rejected shares. Nearly 50k an hour. This is showing a decreased hashrate of several hundred GH/s.

Any ideas what could be causing the issue..?

Oh, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't show anything indicating those rejected shares on the miner itself. Is it merely an issue on their end, and not mine..? Miner shows hashrate of about 4.75TH/s.

Seems some of my other hashrates are a bit low as well. That 1.1TH/s or so in the OP, is a downclocked SP20, which shows over 1200 GH/s on miner interface...

Definitively try another pool. Pointing your hash to China if you're far from China is silly in the first place. And its still silly in the second place since they have a big fee.

What pool would you recommend nowadays?

Originally I was on BTC Guild but the luck was low. Then Ghash... Of course BTC Guild is closed now, otherwise I'd probably have went back...

I'm looking at BitMinter, Slush, Eligius and other smallish US-based pools... I like supporting the little guy if anything... And after looking at Ghash's mining power... My god, how the mighty have fallen. Tongue

Late reply... But I'm going to put my miners on Kano, like you guys have suggested...

Gotta maximize that mining power over the next few weeks. With Block halving and whatnot.

I definitely don't think it's defective. I've never had an issue with the dashboard stats being much different than what was showing poolside. So the temporary fix will just be switching pools I suppose...

Also guys, is there any particular Kano server to mine on, in regards to being in the U.S.? They don't seem to be labeled like some other pools, so I was just wondering if I'd pick the right one...

I used stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333 and the good news is, there don't seem to be any rejected shares. Also, after hashrate/sharerate seems to climb up, it appears these numbers are much more accurate, whereas antpool seemed to vary by several TH/s sometimes.

My only question is, what is "Hi" in the worker stats? This stat only show numbers on my S3 units, so I'm not exactly sure why that is... Anyway, Kano does seem overall better. At least for now. Thanks for the suggestion you guys. I'm glad I got rid of the rejected shares, so hopefully this ":Hi" thing isn't another issue...
