Just a few days ago, I was very skeptical about the possibility of this happening. With the recent price surge and the ones before that, it is becoming more obvious that anything is possible with bitcoin. It is getting hard to make any predictions now, as I am always being proven wrong by the price movement. For what it's worth, I'm holding whatever I have and go with the flow until such time that the price has stabilized.

At its current rate of increase, it will likely get an all time high in $$$, exciting times.

If we get a 20% pump like this every weekend we will reach an ATH in no time! Current price = $675. Weekend 1 = $675 +20% = $810 Weekend 2 = $810 +20% = $972 Weekend 3 = $972 +20% = $1166.4 Weekend 4 = $1166.4 +20% = $1399.68 I am also fine if we replace weekend with month.

Hi,
This 1,5 week the BTC had trouble breaking through the 588$ barrier, and after watching football last night, I check the BTC price and got surprised in a very positive way: $610$ and climbing. At the moment it is 630$+
We are getting closer and closer to halving, what pricerange do you guys expect at 1 July?
As i checked yeah we are near to 700$ now. It is possible to hit 750 - 800$ mark before July.Lets just hope so everyone who keeping their Bitcoin will be happy. My target before i sell my bitcoin is 750$ so good luck to us all

So it would be nice and the halving is also coming towards to us and that can be perfect if it is rising in that time but you are not for sure that it is going to rise but just a prediction.

Yes, the bitcoin has many chances to get on $ 700. Even now, it exceeded that, but it is not certain that it will not decrease after Halving.

on r/bitcoinmarkets, Emocmo made the following comment: I think this has more to do with China Devaluing the Yuan than it does with the Halving.
If you are in China you are pretty sure that your currency is going to lose up to 25% (the figure I've read and heard) over the coming months. Inside China it will not be so horrible. But imagine if every imported item you purchase all of sudden costs 25% more.
So the Chinese middle and upper class is taking the opportunity to lock in the value of their savings. With even a small percent of one's savings in Bitcoin you can see they've already been able to lessen the shock of the currency issues that are coming.
What the folks in the West do not quite grasp is the incredible size of China. For example, New York City with its 8.5 million people would not rate in the top 5 cities in China.
So, even if a small percent of the population chose to put ANY money into Bitcoin, you will see a surge in volume like we've never seen before.
The better news is that with that kind of volume the average price per unit held creeps up. That becomes support. AND..because these people are trying to retain value vs their currency, they will only sell if bitcoin's losses are MORE than the losses they anticipate with currency.
And then the halving might (and I am not sure it will) have an impact on the price. I think that makes sense. There is some weird stuff going on in the world at the moment. Yuan devaluing. a Belgian bank going bust this morning. Brexit vote coming up on June 23rd. Spain votes again in July (they had a general election in December but the vote was so fragmented that no-one was able to form a govt). And of course the USA has presidential elections in November.

Yes, the bitcoin has many chances to get on $ 700. Even now, it exceeded that, but it is not certain that it will not decrease after Halving. as the rally is going on i am expecting $900+ before of halving but i am expecting some selling pressure on or before of halving as the price is now going high their will be selling as most of them are waiting for halving and then sell.

As I can observe right now, i think it's now impossible to BTC to reach $700 before halving, or maybe it will strike up too 1000$. There is no impossible right? Let's just wait to halving and let's all see what will happen after that one.

Brexit is the event that will rattle the world market for now. The rich Chinese already have gold, properties in their portfolios. Now it is bitcoins, thanks to Yuan devaluing. Very exciting times these coming 2 weeks.

When there is uncertainty in the world, people realize the potential of Bitcoin. The crisis in Cyprus coincided with the last bull run. For a currency born during the global financial crisis, I think this is apt.

Here we goooo! The market cap even reached over $11 billion this time which was waaay higher than last month, which was nearly stagnant at $7.5 billion. A $4 billion rise is dramatic. Something is definitely going on right now and people like us are really excited!

I am not sure it depends on how fast the price is going to rise and when the halving is going to come in. I hope that the Bitcoin price can reach $700 before the halving starts kicking in and changes the price again.

As you can see the Bitcoin price has already passed $700 and it is now even on its way to reach $800 and I think that it is going to happen before halving. I hope that it also can reaches $1000 but I do not think that it is going to happen.
