Damn work doesn't allow me to participate much, but its been great fun to take part in Breakout!
Managed to scoop a 3rd place in one of the BRK tourneys, Yay!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

How much longer will the ICO run for, is it 2 weeks? I don't recall anymore if it was wrapping up sometime before or after the BTC halving, though I think it was *before*...  Roll Eyes

Btw, still looking to buy BRX from any early investor that wants to part with some stake, small trades welcome!

How exactly can we mine SIS?

You can solo mine using any sha256 miner, pointing at the wallet (configured as one normally would do for any other solo mining wallet).
There might be some detailed instructions back a few pages, not sure.

Auctioning off the 10D I know the value of the card so bidding will start at 2 BTC.
''''''
Feel free to slack me (jay) or PM on here.
Thanks!

I'm confused but what that card cost that much?

They are valuable to the collectors...  Not many cards are for sale at the moment

From testnet thread

Description of Lotteries: Part 1

For those helping with the testnet, here is what you are eligible for:

There will be a set of 3-4 lotteries for a deck of digital playing cards. There are only 53 cards total, each unique. The top lottery will have aces and other face cards. The second tier lottery will have some face cards and other high cards, and so on.

There is only one deck. There is only one 2 of clubs, etc. Each is a "colored" coin, which can be sent like any coin. They are there for trading and collectability. If Breakout Coin does as well as I think, they should be valuable at some point.

The image below shows my wallet that holds all the cards from the testnet, shortly after testnet launched. GUI slots only exist for 15 cards as it will be some time before any one person collects enough cards to test this limit.

When you receive a card, it will show in the GUI.

These cards are fully decentralized assets. They are essentially "colored coins" in the truest sense. To transfer one, you send it to a bitcoin-like address, just like any cryptocurrency.

More to come...

Very brief mining instructions using Bitblock-CPUminer.

Code:

Conf for mining (in Windows roaming folder "Breakout", or OS X home folder "Library/Application Support/Breakout"), named "breakout.conf":

Code: (breakout.conf)
rpcuser=breakoutrpc
rpcpassword=YOURPASSWORD

Breakout crowdsale ends July 7th at 7pm Pacific.

I know some BRX has changed hands because someone reported getting rewarded BRX fees while mining SiS.

At end of crowdsale, full open source will be released allowing any exchange to easily list trading of BRK and BRX.

There have been several sold for 1btc - 1.5 btc , offers and also cards bought for 2 btc , but those are usually cards the person really wants to complete or to chase some kind of set they are after, so they are willing to pay a little bit extra for it to complete their set.

I am auctioning one off currently in the thread and it's reached 1.5 btc price currently, still got 6-7 days to go before it ends . might reach more, might not.

how to get these breakout cards?!

Buy them from people who were here testing the software many months ago that got them in a lottery or if you are lucky or extremely skilled in poker, winning special poker tournaments the "bittrex" ones .

There is currently one that has been scheduled for this sunday coming , 4 of clubs is the prize for coming first place  .

i will just quote what i said on another thread

Second bittrex tournament has been announced for next week same time as the last one.

We saw 126 players in the last one , first place was a asset or true coloured coin that you can trade directly on the blockchain , see it in your GUI wallet, has some features like allowing you to stake coins with possible other uses in the future, they are mainly speculative currently but are being sold in private trades for 1btc - 1.5btc , there are even active offers for 2 btc for certain cards (althou i have to mention having higher card values doesn't determine an increased reward in staking)

There is also a card i have currently being auctioned off on the main thread, all allowed and discussed with the dev's who gave the ok to do so on their thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1509819.msg15278145#msg15278145   It's the jack of hearts .

There were 2 WSOP bracelet winning professional and famous poker players playing in the last freeroll, and also bounties on the heads of Bittrex owners who were playing , 500 coins for knocking anyone of them out , so if you want to play against some real poker pro's and test your skills or against the bittrex team and earn some extra coins on top of high rewards for placing in the top 3 . then it is a great game to play.

https://slack-files.com/T0779H80P-F1JL34CTW-4edf11a448

The card that can be won in this tournament that is to take place this sunday coming up, is a 4 of clubs . The tournament can be found right now on the poker app , right down at the bottom of the tournaments page , password to enter this tournament is "brkbittrex"

I am really impressed with the way this coin is being run in a really professional way, I am keeping my eye on it and waiting for a bit of spare cash to pop.  Smiley

Thank you!  Glad to see you are still active!
