Hi,

I tried to install the Breakout Poker software on my work laptop. When opening the program I get the following error:

My laptop does not have a dedicated video card, but I would assume this does not matter. The error says "most likely caused by not having the necessary graphics drivers installed", but if there is no graphics card, there are no drivers to install. Chipset drivers are all installed.

I tried downloading the libEGL.dll, libGLESv2.dll and d3dcompiler_(39).dll and put these in the root directory of the Breakout poker client, I still get the same error though.

Has anyone else experienced this error? Is there something I can do about it or somehow overrun the error? I'm sure a dedicated GPU can't be a must to run this software.

I think the executable directory may be "BreakoutPoker\Contents\Client"

Is that where you put the OpenGL libs?

Have you contacted support@breakoutpoker.net? They might be able to help you.

Yeah just did. Was wondering if anyone else might have a solution already.

No, I just put them in the main directory. I tried putting them there but unfortunately the same error. Thank you for the replies.

Hi can anyone share any information on the following statement in the OP:

. This breakdown does not include private sales and early buyer bonuses.

I am not trying to spread FUD I am a little cautious investing in something like this when people will be able to dump at a much lower price than the final ICO. It would end up like vox that is 10 times less than the ICO price. This had people dumping mush less than ICO and was really unfair to the point of scam in my opinion.

I hope this isnt the case so would really appreciate if these private sales were detailed somewhere to ensure this isnt going to turn into a dump contest.

If any of that is cleared up I will add a little more to the pot. If not I will stick with my 0.5 BTC

Great question. The way we worded it does indeed look horrible, except for where we state "Over 500,000 BRK & BRX were purchased through alternate channels at 5000 BRK & BRX / BTC".

There were two private sales that account for the coins that are not represented at http://chain.breakoutcoin.com/balances/

Both private sales were at the highest price of the original ICO. They are not included on that page simply because they did not go through the bitcoin address linked to the main coinsale page.

I wrote a script to calculate balances for the distribution that would happen after genesis block and wrote the log file as HTML so that first sale buyers could check their balances.

Because the private buys came very late in the first sale, any private buyer paid the highest price of anyone in the first sale.

I'm pretty sure they wont allow you to be in the same game if your playing from the same modem if your playing from 2 different modems with different external Ip addresses it should be fine.
If u each have your own modem from the ISP it should be ok if your on the same network it might not be.

Yes.

Can both my friend and I play in the BreakoutPoker cardroom simultaneously from the same location?
Yes! You can both play certain tournaments but you will be seated at different tables. However, if you are playing Practice/Real Money Tables, you are not allowed to sit at the same table.

To ensure I have this straight......

If one did not participate in the initial coin sale in 2014 and the minimum funding target of at least 2000BTC is not reached on Bittrex, the only way to acquire BRX will be via a future coin sale which has yet to be determined.

Is this correct?

If so, when might the coin sale for BRX take place roughly?

Technically yes . but also people who bought and got BRX in the first sale will likely also be selling them, not certain if BRX will be listed at bittrex after IPO or not , hopefully it will be and i thought it was said it would be but apparently it isn't clear yet . But there are people selling off market currently and people buying BRX from original IPO buyers

no set date as of yet for a BRX sale thou

Thanks for the great question.  Collusion concerns are always top of mind when playing for real money, and the policies used should correctly extend to free money play as we are currently offering.

Our standard policy is to allow 2 accounts from the same IP address as per our FAQs "Yes! You can both play certain tournaments but you will be seated at different tables. However, if you are playing Practice/Real Money Tables, you are not allowed to sit at the same table."

Now, having said that, there are several exceptions in both directions.  When we say more than one from the same IP address we will ensure that the accounts are registered to different individuals.  We are very clear that only one account is allowed per individual.  We may also allow more than 2 accounts from the same IP address if we can be shown that the IP address belongs to a location with a larger community involvement.

As you can appreciate, with the current site being free to play, we allow a little more flexibility than we will when we add real money options (in legal jurisdictions), as at that time there will be increased scrutiny on any multiple accounts in an IP or IP range.

Hope that helps!  We take security very seriously and are dedicated to providing all players with a fair play environment in all our platforms as we grow.

I can't help you but I have also integrated gpu (intel hd graphics 5500) and I have had no problems with the client.

Hi - I have asked the platform provider for a fuller explanation as to what the problem may be, as well as the fixes.  I am also using several different laptops and desktops to look for these types of problems and have not been able to replicate.  Please indicate the OS you are using and any other info that may help so that we can continue to find the best solution.  Thanks to everyone that has responded as well!

What do you plan on doing for countries like the Philippines? As I'm sure you know by now, their IP addresses are dynamic and the chances of having two different users access the game from the same IP are very high. With the limited amount of IP addresses available to their country, this is a very common problem with my servers.

Thanks for the reply. The laptop is quite an old model, maybe 7-8 years old (HP Compaq 6110b). It has a Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express for video. It's running Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I have found out that the Mobile Intel(R) 965 chip only can do OpenGL 1.5 and as far as I can see in the error, the software needs OpenGL 2.0 or higher.

I have also tried to test the Breakout poker software on some other machines at work. I got exactly the same error on a Windows 8.1 64bit Hyper-V machine and a Windows Server 2008 R2 server. Both of these machines don't have a graphics adapter though. I'm guessing there is some kind of hardware (GPU) acceleration in the client that requires a vid card/internal GPU that also requires OpenGL 2.0 and above? Might just be a problem for older systems (and servers Tongue)?

If I somehow could get it to work with an added OpenGL 2.0 library or some other kind of workaround from your technical support I'd be a happy camper!

I played today 2 games with the html5 client on my smartphone. Hope you also release a native app.
Sure it worked, but i had several graphic glitches like not displayed names, black timebars and "NaN" instead of the amount of chips.
There are also no messages like "welcome to the Final Table". And i had to switch to the next tables manually.

But at least i made it to the 4th place xD ...so not too bad for this circumstances.
But really would love to see a native app.
