Follow the guide for MN1 & Masternode1 & do all of the steps above EXCEPT steps 9 - 18 After step 8, add this to your Syndicate.conf file masternode=1 masternodeaddr=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:9999 masternodeprivkey=
Then continue on to step 19 for Masternode1 Great Thanks, I set up 2 masternodes. .

I noticed a bug in the My Masternodes tab that doesnt update it properly, I'm working on the fix as we speak along with a few checkpoints.
I'll be pushing to github with new releases soon!

I couldn't run a master node Dev . i think i did something wrong at step 17. What's the line after "-datadir=c:/username/youruser" ?

Are you trying to run 1 Masternode or more than 1?

I really like to announce the Coin is added to my Pool -BUT- at the moment looks like the genesis block of the chain is not propperly built:
2016-06-14 07:11:07 ERROR: CheckBlock() : first tx is not coinbase 2016-06-14 07:11:07 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED
I'm sorry for that !
Cookie
@Dev why did I get such Warnings and why is the daemon not accepting blocks ? Cookie The genesis block is properly built & you must use the python stratum. Why is a python stratum needed ? could you explain it on a techical way ? Cookie No answer here or did I missed it ? Could you explain why the node.js stratum didn't work ? Cookie Still no word on this problem ? Why don't you answer ? Cookie

@Dev The Masternode document states "EXACTLY 5000 SYNX" on page 1 and "atleast 5000 SYNX" on page 3, i think the EXACT is what's needed..
and from a network perspective... what's the advantage of running more than one node on the same device?
Thanks

Maybe some of the other pool operators could shed some light on the subject?

On page 1, it says EXACTLY because its referring to the actual Masternode address. On page 3, it says atleast its for the Masternode Prepayment address, its not the final Masternode address. If you chose to send a bit more than 5000 SYNX to the prepayment address it wouldn't matter because only 5000 SYNX are being sent from the prepayment address to the actual Masternode address. When they're created this way, its easier to keep track which address' have been used to pay for a Masternode already. Running more than one Masternode from a single controller wallets allows all of the masternode payments and remaining balance be staked from a single wallet. It allows them to all be started, stopped & staked from the same wallet.

Are you trying to run 1 Masternode or more than 1? More than one. I'm sorry, I just noticed it didnt print to PDF correctly, the .bat file to start the daemons should look as follows: start /MIN C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate2\Syndicated.exe -datadir=C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate2 start /MIN C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate3\Syndicated.exe -datadir=C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate3 start /MIN C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate4\Syndicated.exe -datadir=C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syndicate4
You must replace "YOURUSERNAME" with your own windows username.
