If bitcoin exchanges and regular casino gambling is accepted in China, then why wouldn't bitcoin gambling be accepted as well?

Why would China only "protect" its citizens from bitcoin gambling and not other forms of gambling? Well, I guess I could understand why China would "protect" its citizens just like the US "protects" its citizens - "Protecting" citizens basically means banning whatever it is they are "protecting" the people from until the government gets its cut of whatever it is.

Its actually surprising that China has all these restrictions specially when gambling sort of goes with their culture. I would also be surprised to here that they have bitcoin gambling sites banned as not a lot of traffic usually goes on those sites. Despite being illegal, people can have access to these sites without any issues.

Gambling is different from exchanges. Dollar exchanges are legal in US or other countries but not all gambling sites are. They are not making bitcoin illegal but the gambling which is illegal with or without bitcoin.

it is not about "bitcoin gambling" it is "gambling" that is illegal. and if i am not mistaken gambling is not allowed in the US and many other countries either.
and it doesn't matter with bitcoin because you can always use it because it is not like fiat that you have to use a bank that can block you, it is on yourself.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

The last few weeks we have seen a lot of bitcoin volume in the market and its coming from China ('s economy problems Tongue) . So wouldnt it be a good idea for gambling sites to start providing the services to Chinas huge market also  ? I mean i dont really know any BTC casino doing it in china, only a few of them have it chinese-translated. Is it legal to gamble with bitcoin in china?

I think gambling in china using bitcoin is legal,

And another thing, who cares if they put an illegal note on it that gambling using bitcoins are illegal, First of all bitcoin are a decentralized currency, and are not controlled by any government treasury, and another thing, you can make your self anonymous to it because in bitcoins transactions or in ledger as what we call it, only wallet address are shown, so if you tried to change your locations to different countries like maybe using a tor then you cannot be traced easily, even with the feds.

One thing I wish for BTC now would be.. For it to be more renowned and used worldwide. Well it is now but I believe it can still go a long way. Like what you said, no really point to argue about it being legal or not etc.

I do not think that China has delivered its citizens to gamble looks like something that can be taken for common sense, I believe it is unlikely to happen.

Bitcoin is pretty known to me, my family and a lot of friends I have, but none of the reasons for knowing it are good. Most of them have heard of it in context of an illegal activity and a lot of them still think bitcoin as a whole is illegal. Media doesn't do a good job is portraying bitcoin as a good alternative. I actually asked a friend yestrday, and even he said he knows it as drug money, so definitely not a good reputation.

At this time I don't have any authentic news which shows China has allowed gambling with Bitcoin. There is still tight regulation even about Bitcoin in spite of all the recent price spike which is caused of Chinese money.Chinese investors don't represent government and government is not going to make gambling with Bitcoin legal soon.

Bitcoin is making its space in China easy by easy.I think Chinese elite class has realized that their capital is safer in Bitcoin and they have poured lot of money into Bitcoin.Once Bitcoin will be popular in China there will be no restriction or it will not be illegal anymore to gamble with it even in China. This will happen for sure in future sooner or later.

I did not hear it which is odd, since from what i know the biggest group of gamblers I've ever seen has been chinese. They seem to gamble if their lifedepends their life on it?

I am also hoping for it.

But as what I can see right now bitcoins do still have a long way before it depreciate or loss its value.

bitcoins are still not that known by most of people here in our country and to different countries out there and only the persons who regularly used an internet knows it, so you are right it still does have a good chance to become more popular as to what it is now.

In communist china bitcoin is probably illegal xP
They want total and complete control of their people. That is why china is a sweat shop country. I don't think having gambling in such an unedcuated country is a good idea though anyway.

yeah they are really accepting bitcoin but gambling is a very different thing and it has nothing to do with bitcoin and accepting it.

they may have accepted bitcoin and also they may have been very active in the bitcoin scene but gambling is not yet legal in their country.

They've got a crazy firewall blocking out sites. I'm not a teach wizard though so I'm unsure if Tor or certain VPN's can find a way around this.

People here will make up crap & guess but only Chinese bitcoin users would really know.
