i am not home to update. will all my staked stratis be for not?
No its just a regular update, so everything will be fine when you get back. The update is purely cosmetic, so you wont miss any stakes at all. Why version 2.0.0.1 EXE size was some 9MB, and now the new 2.0.0.2 is over 24MB?
Not too many changes in source files, so what is that huge difference from?
Two reasons I can think of: HQ icons and building with Qt5 instead of Qt4. Well, actually the total size of files in 2.0.0.2 is ~4 MB less than in 2.0.0.1; splash3.png is now 1 MB less than previous version, and few PNGs were removed, so the new version should be rather smaller. So, you think Qt5 was used and it added 15 MB for keeping some air in the EXE :-) ? You're welcome to build a release edition yourself with Qt 5.7.0 and have a look. Edit: just checked and v2.0.0.1 was build with Qt 5.3.2. Don't know why my version is bigger. I will have a look at it! Just tried building in a linux environment using MXE and I was able to cut the .exe down by 1MB, but nowhere near 9MB the previous version was at. I'm not sure what happened there. I will look further into it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. |

i am having problems with the new mac wallet
talked to Dev's already - and belive it is a Mac issue
10.12.2
old wallet works fine
new wallet does not "snapp" into it i belive
gives me an error (nothing specific in there - send to Dev's already) every time
as it does not snap "into" it
any idea of a Mac pro what i can do ??
(otherwise i keep staking on old wallet for now ; )

This Ledger Nano S wallet keeps me drooling . It is so cool and convenient. So small that it fits anyone's pocket.
Same here. Any idea what the limited Stratis edition will go for? Heard there's only 15 available so not sure how the selection process will be like. Price might be up the ying yang also but I will still consider purchasing one if I'm lucky enough to be selected. |

They were only available to loyal supporters, helpers, volunteers, and holders of Stratis. Which is fair, because these are the people who should be rewarded. It is possible that announcements of Stratis full nodes and/or Stratis Cloud will occur around or on London Blockchain Expo 2017 Stratis is unlikely to make a move in either direction. In the best case scenario it will go down to london underground and get hit by a train. Dont pursue hopes that are unlikely to come true, u risk to get a mental disability if u stay in the land of delusion for longer than few secs. |
