i have just m wallet.dat file on an usb stick.
i can keep is that way or do i need to download the new wallet, in order to not lose my coins.

The best solution to keep your Stratis save, is the hardware wallet.

IMO he can store Stratis on bittrex, poloniex or binance, these 3 exchanges are quite safe and secure. I store my coins on bittrex since 2014. Never have any problem.

Just because you've done it successfully doesn't mean it is good practice. Tell that to the people that had coins on Mt. Gox, Bitfinex, Mintpal, Cryptsy and countless other exchanges...

if you don't staking ledger nano S is well!
else use strat wallet on pc and safe your backup file!
exchanges are well but don't deposit all of your coins here.
as trader you must use exchanges but is not best practice to hold lifetime

I watch this as opportunity because lot of people were crying to get cheap Stratis and were keep saying they lost chance to buy cheap. This is their chance to get on again by availing the opportunity instead of keep whining now. This is part of the game sometimes up and other times down.

well for people who believes with ongoing progress of this project then the value right now is really cheap considering that it went to a huge rise few months
ago, so holding and keep it stake while waiting for new updates and progress from the working team would be the best option, keep it up and buy while you can still have cheap stratis.

Naaah, never store your coins on exchanges for so long. Maybe you should keep your coin on Exchange for trading, but if you are an holder than keep your coins in a wallet where you got your private key. Any exchange is not a real safe place to keep your money.

price speculating right now would be pointless especially since bitcoin price is surging. We dont know how the altcoin including stratis reacts

For the end of this year, I believe it will be at around 8-10. For the next one it is extremely hard to predict based on the instability of the current market. A clearer answer will be probably possible in one two months when Bitcoin Gold hysteria settles. For the end of 2018 I think 20-25 USD for Stratis is quite possible and RESONABLE.

Finally we can say Stratis will be the force platform to reckon with . Breeze wallet with tumblebit will standardize the way blockchain-as-a-service would be in business. 2018 is really will be a great anticipation for Stratis platform.

On the 23rd of this Month Stratis will be releasing breeze beta on testnet with STRAT and BTC. A multi-currency SPV Wallet
 that's good news for innovation of multi-currency spv wallet,
the developer, community and ecosystem of stratis are very hard work to makes it more better in the future
let's wait and see the progress of this projects.

Yes but we must be patient give them the time to doing it, something new information about the stratis is the Stratis project has made some amendments to the roadmap for the last quarter of the year.
Throughout the course of 2017, the Stratis team has delivered several key projects that have pushed the project forward including: Stratis Full Node, Breeze Wallet Alpha, and the Stratis Identity App (for Android).
