I received a payment of roughly 5500 bytes but the sender only used a fee of 5 sat/byte so it has been sitting unconfirmed for almost 3 days. Is there a way to pay someone to seek out this tx and include it in a block?

It is possible to talk to a pool operator.. I think Kano has done this in the past. You'd think there would be a "bribe a pool" service by now. I think there is an actual wallet with a feature to add a fee to be collected if a targeted TX is included.

Post in Kano's tread, maybe. If not hopefully someone can link you the guide.

You may be able to simply cancel it and resend it.
Bitcoin core includes a command "abandontransaction", but I've never used it and don't know the requirements.

There's a pool or 2 that use child-pays-for-parent. Try sending the output of the tx to another address with a high fee - enough to cover the size of the original tx + itself.

I tried doing this but my wallet only lets me set "high priority" and I only sent a relatively small amount of the received amount (but more than what was originally in the wallet, so part of the output that I received).  Unfortunately that didn't work.

Then I sent some of the unconfirmed received amount to a wallet where I can choose any amount for the fee....then I sent a transaction with $10 in fees from that other wallet.  Still nothing.
