I built memeracing.net.

I am the webmaster for voluntaryist.com and added the real-time bitcoin prices to everything there.

I am the only programmer for laptopsforless.com and ereplacements.com (not bitcoin related).

I'm also the webmaster for libertopia.org.

The Dollar Vigilante uses me when they need backend stuff done.

I wrote the backend for www.cerritosautosquare.com (JSON and actual web pages), and I'm good friends with Bryce James who handles the UI stuff.

I like to provide some work at no charge to prove my value.  Check the link in my sig for more info.  In the worst situation, we don't like each other and you walk away with my work for free.  If anyone is interested in such an arrangement, PM me.

Dave Scotese.

That is a bit more work than I usually do for free, but I can start on it if you have a domain set up already.

Thanks, Steve!

Check this out:

http://www.bitcoinerr.com <-- Problem loading page
http://www.BitGigs.com <-- The "Buying" button seems like the right way to find jobs, but it doesn't appear to do anything.  I offered to help them fix it.
http://workforbitcoin.com <-- I registered, but I am registered in many places already.  My bitcointalk sig has generated more leads than all of them put together.
http://bitcoin.jobamatic.com <-- The site shows 10 jobs posted in April.  Seems pretty good.
http://www.bitcoinjobs.com/ <-- shows three jobs posted in 2013.
https://www.btcworkers.com/ <-- signed up.  Seems simple enough.
http://www.bitcoinjobmarket.com/ <-- the one interesting job posted there was actually posted by someone looking for work, not the other way around.

Thanks BtcCat!

In an effort to prove my value to all here at bitcointalk who might benefit from my knowledge and expertise, I am offering a free and transferable hour of consulting (meaning we can talk on the phone or through Skype or I can do stuff on the Internet for you, or both, though I will not be able to do anything illegal for you or make any payments) to the first responder who follows this procedure:

  • WORK SPEC: Send me a Private Message explaining what you'd like me to do, along with a bitcoin address that you own.  If you'd like to encrypt the message, you can find my public key at http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=notplato, and the key ID is E621B1ED.
  • REVIEW: Create a message indicating that you will post a review of the results of my hour of work here in this thread within 24 hours of my completion of the hour of work.
  • PURCHASE: (Optional) If you're not the first responder, you may include in your message an offer to buy the hour for some bitcoin.  If your offer is accepted, you will hold a complete hour rather than only the part of the hour I have not yet provided to the previous holder.
  • SALE: If you hold the hour that I have offered, and you accept someone's offer to buy it, you will, within 4 hours of your acceptance of the offer to buy:
    • inform me that you have sold the hour and for how much bitcoin.  The safest way to do this is to post it as a reply to this thread.
    • send 50% of the price you receive to the bitcoin address with which I've signed this message (see below),
    • release me of the obligation to provide you with an hour of work (or any remainder if I've already provided some work), and
    • provide a review here in this thread of any work I've done for you according to this agreement.
  • SIGN: Sign your message and post it here as a reply.
    • Create a reply to this thread with your message in it and use the Preview Button to make sure it's as perfect as you want.
    • In your bitcoin client, click File | Sign Message.
    • Copy your message from the preview into the "Signatures - Sign / Verify a Message" box.  Using the preview gets rid of all the markup which makes it a lot easier to validate the signature.*
    • Select the bitcoin address you sent me, and click "Sign message".
    • The box at the bottom of the "Signatures - Sign / Verify a Message" box will contain your message's signature which will look something like the quoted signature at the bottom of this message.
    • Paste the signature into the bottom of your reply and click Post.

A promise to provide you with an hour is useless to you unless I also agree to provide it by some deadline (thanks TradeFortress!).  This agreement obligates me to provide the holder of the hour with an hour of work within 24 hours of the  reply that made them the first responder, or, if they bought the hour, within 24 hours of the completion of all four requirements to which the seller agreed as described in the "SALE" section above.  If I feel feedback from the holder is necessary for me to proceed, I will do my best to contact them, and then give them at least two hours to get back to me before I make a good faith effort to follow the instructions from the "WORK SPEC" section for the remainder of the hour I owe them.

*The bullets in the preview are converted to four spaces per bullet level, so, for example,
    • This will have eight spaces before it, and
  • This will have four spaces before it.

I have signed this message with my #bitcoin-otc address, (I'm notplato on there, and dscotese on the rest of the Internet if you'd like to research me), 1MaRr8uhTqshmaCHpRBZQkeytQynwJwztg:

Note: The signed portion of this message stops at the colon after my bitcoin address, so make sure you don't pick up the newline after it.

If anyone wants to copy that last reply I wrote and use it for themselves, please go ahead.  If you feel it can use improvements, please let me know.  Don't forget to change the payment address.  Oh wait, go ahead and forget! :-)
