Have been into this debate way before, but didn't get it considered yet by the management. I have been trying my best to take this to them and draw their attention towards this that the price of ETH has gone way above and losing such an amount would be harsh on our side, so they should really change the minimum to something which could be an affordable loss if lost so. So that we could gain more users for the site.

I can't find the reason for them to not consider changing this limits, have they replied anywhere about this in this thread or anywhere. I think they are not changing this because this is embedded in their smart contracts and to make any small changes like this they might have to re-code all their smart contracts. Correct me if i am wrong...

Yes they replied on the last page...

The min. bet parameter needs to come down.
The dramatic ETH price rise has ramification for a number of factors, not just vDice, but gas on the network etc, etc.

...Right now the focus is getting the next (new) game out the door. Then we can switch back to the dice game upgrades.

Thanks for letting us now about the site stats and yes it does really indicates that Vdice is growing since people do have an alternative coin to use on.As expected this development or popularity will surely rise up in upcoming future and theres no doubt that vdice would be considered one of the famous site.

They replied and said that they are looking forward to changing it, but I think that as the time passes by, they are actually losing some potential users who might be interested in trying out the site with less bet sizes but can't go ahead due to big min bets.

By the way, how is process of creating new vDice game going? There wasn't any new updated on vDice blog since 11th April.
AFAIK this game should be around the corner already, as it was advertised to be released mid May.

Also, as others already said - minimum bet requirement needs to be lowered ASAP.

Right now the focus is getting the next (new) game out the door. Then we can switch back to the dice game upgrades.

The next game is a slot machine (vSlots). The code is done. We’re in the process of switching the vSlots game code to the new datasource.
We decided also to change (mostly remove!) some parts to reduce gas costs for both placing a new bet and for executing the callback transaction.

The new code with those changes will be delivered by tomorrow to our front-end developers. Then they can finish work on their APIs.
The HTML code and design is nearing completion. Then we just stitch all 3 parts together and go live!

We’re also still waiting for the 3rd party code audit by Peter Vessenes team at New Alchemy.
We are assured that is well and truly underway. Once received we’ll publish that for peer review and feedback.

That's a good suggestion, that way VSL will increase it's demand and vdice will be getting bigger, I hope developers will consider that idea.
In normal casinos they do a lot of promotion and to come up with something unique is always a better idea to attract people to gamble.

Yes, it looks like they are taking more time to look into this important issue. Slowly they may lose many players from the site if they don't reduce the bet size immediately. Or they may be busy with developing some other games not sure but they need to reduce bet size soon.

Yes you have got the good point, vdice have to lower this down 0.22 at current exchange rate counts $20 which is really high minimum for players.
Also maximum bet for 19x multiplier is only 0.44 ETH which is very low limit compared to other normal bitcoin/altcoin dice sites.

Maybe they haven't taken the recent points into consideration to reduce the minimum bet amount. They should immediately do it otherwise they may lose a lot of smaller bets from many people. Including me, I don't want to bet so much of each game. It better to reduce as soon as possible.

I think the minimum betting amount should be decreased and people should be given the opportunity of betting with any amount they wish. Many people cant afford big betting amounts and i think Vdice is for all people and not only for the Rich.
I am sure things will be back to normal soon and site will take decision in the favor of the players.

It has already been talked about many times, and it's not that they are ignoring because the management has already given a statement where they said that they will surely consider this and change it to lower minimum bets to be in "favor of players", but they are currently focused on their new game release and that's actually an exciting part too for the website as well as tokens, so getting panic about it won't change anything but we should wait.

Well, why do you compare a coin with a Gambling site ? Vdice is already offering a much better Signature campaign as compare to the TOR coin. What can be done more is to offer free ETH for playing at Vdice just to increase public awareness of the site and people to come to site to play some amount for free play  (not withdrawal-able of course)

Ya that is why i was telling that using our own coin will give more value to the project , like what you are saying we should give some promotion to use our coin to enter any game and on winning should get more coins like this we can promote our coin, like what ROUND coin is offering and you can see that the coin was trading on 70 sat and now it reached the 12k high value due to their promotion for their coin in their project. So we should also do some what like that to promote the VSL coin in the market
