I have not seen famous people using Bitcoins too, but I agree the volatility of Bitcoin makes many people have interest in buying it to start making profit. BTC is powerful now because it offers new opportunities to earn money on the internet, partially anonymously. Some people use it to practive illegal things, anothers use BTCs to have a higher quality life.

I particularly never saw before something so good to earn money online. It's totally different from anything from the past, like the PTC sites, Ponzi schemes and another unprofitable things. Who doesn't know about BTCs yet is losing time and money.

In fact bitcoin is increasing exponentially in volume and numbers of transactions which will get us to the hell of thinking that bitcoin may take the lead of other cryptocurrencies if we don't say that it will take the lead of traditional currencies.because it has power which can fortify its presence in today world.

Depends who or what you call famous. I've seen quite a few Bitcoin references in famous tv-shows and people like Kim Dotcom have been pretty vocal about Bitcoin.

There was always the option to make money online, Bitcoin hasn't changed that in my opinion, in the past you could have just accepted Paypal.

your government forbid bitcoin but you still using bitcoin anonymously so it is a good example that government can block bitcoin to fiat conversion transaction but they can not block using bitcoin.
