-23 June will be UK Independence Day-

Results: leave 17410742 vs 16141241

Quote from: David Cameron
“We should be proud that we trust our people”

“The British people have voted to leave the European Union and their will must be respected”

“There can be no doubt about the result”

“I would reassure those markets and investors that Britain’s economy is fundamentally strong”

“I’m very proud and honoured to have been Prime Minister of this great country for six years”

“I think the country requires fresh leadership”

“I will do everything I can as prime minister to steady the ship over he coming weeks and months but I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain”

““It’s in the national interest to have a period of stability”

A message from your beloved Americans: Don't worry the US army isn't leaving its unsinkable European aircraft carrier;)

A message from your beloved Chinese: a trade delegation is coming to settle some nice free trade agreement with 0 import taxes on miners;)

A message from your beloved Russians: we stay (we can't come back anyway Wink)

A message from your beloved Europeans: European slaves need your help now that you are out to reform and improve this Union.

 Grin

It's beautiful that the fear message didn't work, that like before the English men and women stand united and decided to path their own destiny free from the leach and diktats from
Continental Europe.

God save the Queen

Act 1 Fire carney from the BoE... He is a globalist Canadian! Wtf is he doing there in the first place... What would Natanel Mayer Rotschild would have said... A man from a dominion is ruling over the £ ?!? Now is the best time I am sure that Cameron has some friends who are as competent and educated as Carney but born and raised and educated in the UK. Make the city strong... How could we implant yuan - btc trading with a Canadian?!? There is Vancouver for that;)!

Act 2 legalize weed and decriminalize all plants: no free men and women shall be in jail for an addiction

Action!!!

Its actually a good decision for the EU, and rest of the world because
The exit will have
1. Positive impact on UK the rest will learn form UK and follow the steps of UK.
2. Negative impact on UK the rest will learn from UK and would not follow the steps.

I don't think they can resist it. You only have to look at the Greek problems to see the dangers in going against public desires.
The big danger is that the gov introduce another batch of QE to try to save insolvent banks and support the pound, and that they blame it on the BRexit vote, rather than their incompetence and self-serving greed.

So, Its a start of EU disintegration? AFAIK UK is one of the strongest member of EU, but the people has spoken? Hope they will respect the decission of majority. It seems that their decission is in favor for their country. by how many margin/difference in final count?

It was very tight, less than 4%. But if you consider that we let a lot of immigrants vote, it's probably quite a large majority.

We've got a border - it's called the English channel. I read that the tunnel under it has sprung a leak as well. Smiley
We've got a currency, it's called Sterling ( The Pound), and Bitcoin of course.
We've got laws, most of them based on old Roman law I believe.

If there is a FRexit (which i really doubt) there will not be a European Union at all. It would make no sense in a geographical and political aspect.
But France has too many interest in terms of economy to really go out.

Spain probably benefited a lot from EU, so it wouldn't be fair to exit now. Italy is a more complex case (the north is quite rich, but the South is very poor, so I don't know if EU has benefited to them or if they had to pay for poorer countries) and I don't know much about it.
But both are less important than France in EU.

Every one should be able to exit the EU if they vote for it. The problem is that many times the population is blinded by the actual problems and doesn't see the huge benefits they got over the years.

Yes, I think that Spain will not leave the EU zone. As I know Italy wants to exit but due the 'technical' internal politics problems they are focused to other things.

The exit from the EU zone is a long term view, most probable 5-10 years to be more strong.

Dutchies all know the result of this vote, which is why politicians don't let us choose. Unfortunately.
You're not alone in this condition. We what to say in Eastern Europe?  20-25 years ago, your politicians,  especially some overseas , came and  bought our politicians. Our economy was destroyed by them together, to be revealed markets for your  economies. Our politicians were took good commissions against this and  got the right "to fight corruption." And now, you are angry that  people with  passports from our countries, but not from our ethnic groups, flooding your countries. In fact, before changes occur in our countries, these same people  had been integrated largely and they  worked,  and doesn't  drained of social systems.
In our countries,  as well as in  your  countries all happened without nobody  to ask the people.

Wow! 17 million vs 16 million? That means a lot of people there still want to be in the EU. Personally I don't understand what's the point of Brexit, and now I see that a lot of people in the GB don't understand it either.

Brits betrayed the European idea! Let German-French duo makes them suffer because of their decision.

That's very bad for them. They'll get what they merited. I can predict that they will go throught choas times ! If the United Kingdom left, well, that will be good for France, because its preponderant role will be reinforced.

Wow! 17 million vs 16 million? That means a lot of people there still want to be in the EU. Personally I don't understand what's the point of Brexit, and now I see that a lot of people in the GB don't understand it either.

The ugly truth is that the 17 millions are mainly old fags. Everyone above 55 years old voted out and everyone under 40 voted remain... That's the real sad thing here ><

The British economy is more powerful than that of Germany and France combined. That is why all the Eastern Europeans are flocking to the United Kingdom. Germany is only able to attract low quality Turkish and Arab immigrants, and France is full of Sub Saharan African immigrants. The German and the French economies are going to suffer.

There seems to be so little understand about why the EU was created, how it has evolved, and why it was so important for us to get out. In fact, it is important for the stabilityof Europe for the Union to be dissolved, interest rates to rise to  2%, and for the insovent banks to take their punishment without the bail-in theft option.

I might put together a site with my views on the recent victory for Britain and Europe.

I'm surprised and delighted by the vote.

I'm also amused by the way the Scott independence vote seems to have had what I am sure to many are an unanticipated negative consequence of separating that jurisdiction from the EU.

I would suggest to those of England to do a 'means test' of all immigrants which landed on their shores via dictates from Brussels.  Those who have had a net negative economic impact (e.g., feeding on the welfare state with no noticeable trajectory toward or observable interest in weening themselves) could be relocated North.  Once that is accomplished a the Scots could have again the option of splitting from England and re-joining the EU with every hope that they would jump on the chance.

The Scots nationalists have gamed it TVB. I don't think I have seen such cynical political posturing in my lifetime.

To use the Leave result as a legitimation for another Scottish independance referendum when the last one is less than 2 years behind us, is absolutely staggering.

Bearing in mind that the last Scottish Independance referendum was meant to be a once in a lifetime decision.

I find it all a little more than undignified TBH

The irony here is that, relatively speaking, the UK did alright out of the EU (immigration aside). Whereas the Greeks, Spain, Cyprus, Ireland et al have, to a greater or lesser degree, been shafted by their membership.

Yet we are out and they are in.

Definite domino effect highly likely. Lets wait and see.

We didn't do alright, we poured £millions every day into the EU to bail out Germany and other countries, and got nothing of value in return.

Remember, an Englishman invented the Internet and made Bitcoin possible. Now we are in control again, expect more world benefits to come from us. The destruction of the evil EU is just one of them.

What a great result, UK getting out of Eurozone and not letting anymore the European Central Bank to decide for them, thats the first major step which is good to UK. Now I expect Italy to get out of Eurozone as I remember when I was there a few years back, I meet an engineer who had worked at Mercedes-Benz for 20 years, yet now he was unemployed because of the Euro and showed me a 50 Euro banknote and told me this destroyed us, and he was damn true about it, Euro destroyed all Eurozone, so far I have not seen a country being better than before entering the Eurozone, and I am not talking about Portugal, Ireland ,Spain and Greece which I think they will be next.
Today is a victory of the freedom, come on domino effect I wait you happening soon.

I think that England will have a though time there country depends for big part on international market. What if big company's move to other country's only because this decision. Negotiations will be hard with the other EU country's and can take years. The old trading contracts are not longer valid lucky enough they never started with using the Euro coin.

Keep in mind to add on there, that same millions went on to smaller other part of the EU system.

Like countries like greece who kept asking for one and kept begging for more. Its more of the smaller countries that produce imports/exports for their country should be worried about.

That shouldnt be in the system to begin with.

I think that Britain will have a though time because the Globalists need to make them suffer immensely in order to try to scare other nations away from thoughts of following them out the door.  If they even follow through with the exit and it doesn't seem clear that they will.  'Many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip' as they say.  Democracy is significantly deprecated these days and not at all popular or compatible with most of the Globalist's programs.

As an American I very much appreciate the people of Britain in the fairly brave action they have taken here.  If there is a way to support them through the tough times ahead I'll do so.  For instance, next time I wish to buy something I will find out if I can source it through a British company doing business on British soil.  Especially if they accept Bitcoin Smiley

The economy might suffer some setbacks, but that will be only temporary. In the long term, Brexit is going to be beneficial for the British economy, as well as for the British people. Utility bills and household items will become cheaper, and the government will be having additional funds to spend on important sectors such as the NHS.

I hope that is true. Unfortunately our treasonous government has sold most of the utilities to the Europeans. This was to pay the EU leeching charges. Even though we are out, over £1billion will have to go to Europe on interest and dividend payments every year.

Time 2 prepare FRexit ;-)
If there is a FRexit (which i really doubt) there will not be a European Union at all. It would make no sense in a geographical and political aspect.
But France has too many interest in terms of economy to really go out.

What do you think about Spain & Italy ? Because Italy deserves to exit from the EU and also Spain imho.

Highly doubtful that Italy is a potential, due them being one of the 6 founding nations.

Italy is not a big "donor" to the European Union, unlike the nations such as the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. They get as much funds from the EU as they donate. Also, Italy is having a saner welfare system, when compared to say, the UK. This means that the Eastern Europeans have no incentive to move to Italy on a massive scale.

Why do you think bills will become cheaper? A smaller marker should only lead to less competition and this means higher prices. Plus the UK has to import a big part of their day to day consumption products (foods, raw materials and so on) and those will become more expensive since imports from EU will not be as easy as before.

Sanctions against Russia forced them to produce more internally, and they are stronger as a result of this. Brexit will force Britain to utilise all of the wasted resources here, and that will strengthen us as well. Without the shackles of the EU, using these resources is viable once again.

We didn't do alright, we poured £millions every day into the EU to bail out Germany and other countries, and got nothing of value in return.

This. People voted rationally - they weighed what we were putting in, and what we got out and made a sensible decision. BTW the Dutch are in a similar position - they are pouring money into the EU and getting very little out - I wouldn't be surprised if they decided they want out too.

Russia is an economic dwarf standing on the giant fallen shoulder of former Soviet Union... How many oligarchs in Soviet Union? Did you see the pension of those who died from old age having worked with Stalin? Comrade want a golden palace? Comrade will see taiga.

There was more values exchanged in the last few days because of brexit than what was produced since the inception of Russia as a nation... And I mean way before Soviet Union;-)

Isn't GB now gathering singatures to make another referendum?

This one fundamental problem of the EU... At least recently they made a little clarification on what their values were

1) free movement of people
2) free movement of goods
3) free movements of services
4) free movements of money

Freedom of speech isn't sadly included... If only Nigel had never spoke his mind ;-)

You might be right - there is already Project Fear Mk II going on about how the sky is falling in, plus some newspapers are pushing a false narrative that people are regretting their vote, plus others talking about "walking this back".

I think both the EU and the globalists will try to crush us as an example to others.

But they picked the wrong nation to try this on. Brits have been brought up on the battle of britain - foreigners tend to say, why do your schools keep emphasizing the war, why does television keep showing WW2 stuff - it's a way of teaching the next generation about the importance of fighting. That's why the Leave vote happened - the more people tried to scare us, the more determined people became, we've been raised this way.

Dutch government ignores the population (and referenda) anyway. Sad but true

I suppose it is harder for the Netherlands to leave because they were foolish enough to sign up for the euro.

There are two western european countries who pay a lot into the EU who arn't in the euro - denmark and sweden. Both might decide to leave to protect themselves by leaving.

Those layers of gov by independence or by super state are increasing gov cost. Never reducing it. If they believe to beat automation with this trick politicians are desillusional... There will be a little resistance from the judges but the machine will win. Constant data awareness at an exponential rate of acquisition Wink
