I was wondering what others think, will 1 BTC ever have a value of 50k+?
Within the future like in 50-200 years from now.

No and it will not.

....

My basis? Simply none.

What's the highest it will go in your opinion?
It can even go in millions in future, but the chances are very low, but if we think in reality then bitcoin has an potential to achieve the price of $10k in near future.

I agree. Im not thinking also on what is the price within 50-200 years from now. What im thinking is does bitcoin can survive after that years i guess you should also do that rather than dreaming.

It's not impossible, but it's not probable either. The chances of that happening as of what our current situation is, is it won't happen at all. Saying like "maybe in 50-200 years" isn't quite enough information to say that it "might" happen. There are so many possible events that may occur in that span of time and who knows if bitcoin is still alive and in circulation in that time? Just roughly 6 years ago, bitcoin has nearly no value and look at where it has gone right now. It's only been 6 years.

Reaching $50k per coin might be possible if the bitcoin market price goes to $10k with good support.

It can happen but I would not like it to be over 50 years because I am not sure of I still will be here it has to happen allot sooner then that.
It is possible for the value of the bitcoin to reach 50k but when it will happen is a big question.

Bitcoin reaching the price value of 50k is a tall order. Maybe it will reach when our grandchildren have grown grey hair

The Bitcoin price speculation withing the future is very interesting, most people i tell about Bitcoins, like the system very much. I am curious to see if any country will soon use BTC as its official country currency, I mean such thing would increase the Bitcoin price immediately, the question is whats gonna be the first country if any and how strong will the price increase be?

I am not sure if the Bitcoin is ever going to reach that price, it is nice and high and many people would sell there coins for that amount of money so would I.
But when it is going to happen is something that nobody knows, it is not even sure if it is going to happen.

Maybe, when the last one is mined. That would make it a 100% unproducable anymore, but other altcoins might interfere and that would be way in the future. In other words probably not in our lifetime.

1 bitcoin reaching 50k usd is a pipe dream. Although it is very unpredictable at the moment, I don't think it will ever reach that high amount
And yet people have been saying the same when bitcoin was created - it is not possible for it reach $100 after all it is nothing but a couple digits in the online code.
Real value of bitcoin - based on its actual potential of storing important data - for example notarial acts in the blockchain is estimated to be $1000 as of now.

So Bitcoin is undervalued according to experts. It will take some time for more people to realize that, but that will happen eventually.

Some people undervalue it because Bitcoin is limited in its supply of bitcoins to 21 million overall that each bitcoin represents a share in the overall Bitcoin economy. Thus, if there was $21 billion worth of trade occurring after all bitcoins have been created then each bitcoin would be priced at $1000.

we all would love to see a huge rise for bitcoin that is beyond our wildest dreams. but prices like 50K and 10K are never going to be possible because there is never enough demand for bitcoin to reach such a high price.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Possibly the price might reach $10000 which is something a realistic value when we consider its growing potential. But when price increases above certain limit the opposition and regulation towards bitcoin and other digital currencies increases. To avoid such situation its better to have a value within certain limits.

It is possible for the price the reach 50k at some point in the future but when it will happen I do not know.
First we have to reach $1000 before are going to talk about anything higher then that because we have to stay realistic.

exactly! there are many threads where people are talking about insanely high price levels. it makes no sense to talk about $50,000 prices while we are far below the $700 price level. when we finally touch the $1000 price level again, then people can have a fantasy about reaching $2000 prices. and when we reached $2000 then people can speculate about reaching $3000. that makes sense. from below $700 to $50,000 doesn't make sense.

I think if we ever got bitcoin to go into 1000s then we would need to swap to some other method of mining.  The energy wasted to secure the network even now is ridiculous,  and for society's that have goals to be eco friendly bitcoin doesn't fit.

The network difficulty has been on a steady uptrend since Bitcoin’s creation. Expect mining to become more competitive as time goes on.

There is of course a chance of it happening and I think that it will happen somewhere in the future but the real question is how long it is going to take.
I will sell for sure if the price is going to be able to reach that high.
