Author Topic: 8 hours to found a block in slush?  (Read 839 times)

is that normal? im new to mining and some times it take 3 min and some times it takes 8 hours to find a block.. is this normal? should i be using another pool?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)
