Why are you investing in Bitcoin?

I want to one day be living off my bitcoin earnings so am always looking for good opportunities to invest in. Soon I will join a slid company that has been around for more than eight years dealing in precious metals and soon they will diversify into bitcoin as well. So am excited about that at present.

Since the price of Bitcoin changes a lot, so I know most of you are investing large amounts of money in Bitcoin.
But why are you doing this? to make money by selling them after a price increase? or is it just to have something to do on the internet?
And since the price can increase and decrease, you can lose this invested money, what would you do?

The best moment to invest into the bitcoin is right after the price drop than the price of the bitcoin is low and really investable because the price is
low there are allot of people buying bitcoins right after it the price of the bitcoin will defently rise again. So if you think investing in bitcoins is not worth it you are not very smart you will only make profit.

At the beginning of my Bitcoin career I invested because I just wanted to be a part of this new thing and this new movement. Nowadays, I am part of this movement and my reasons have changed a little. I mainly invest in Bitcoin to be independent from the money politics and to spread my hard earned savings into several assets (one of them is Bitcoin).

Yeah we can make good profits from it only by holding it as holding involves no risk and if you can afford to hold it for a long term then you can expect best in the future.

thats true though i think that it is really unpredictable and anything might happen with the bitcoin price in the future hopefully the trends will be only up with the bitcoin price

in my opinion i am investing into bitcoins in order to gain as much profit out of it as possible, i think that bitcoins are going to grow a lot in the near future making me some decent money

I'm also holding it up in my wallet because I think with just holding you can make some nice profits for sure but of course we will see what is gonna happen with the bitcoin itself.

Right. As the BTC value is increasing day by day the profit will certainly fill up the wallet. Be smart in buying BTC now, invest the BTC you have now in buying the same. The price may be bit high now to buy. But of course, will see a good profit after few days of savings.

yeah i think that it is the best option possible if you really want to make a lot of money over long run, i think the price is going to grow a lot in the future even after that in my opinion

I wouldn't completely agree with you because that's somewhat really rude and out of respect to say that if someone think investing in bitcoins is not worth it for him, he is not very smart. There are people who take double, triple even, precautionary measures in investing and bitcoin itself isn't really considered as 100% profitable investment in the long run.

We are only seeing profits right now since the price is only yet steadily increasing. But remember what happened early 2014. The value was really high and the price dramatically dropped after Mt.Gox went down.

Halvings aren't that big of a deal for normal Bitcoin users looking to use it as currency. I am quite sure that a lot people don't even know why the block halving is happening. They just hear the word halving and think the price will sky rocket to insanely high price levels.

In some sense I suppose. International transfers give bitcoin the upper hand, but I can push money from my bank to anyone's account for free in the U.S. They also pay back 5 ATM withdraws each month.

The reason I got into bitcoin was for the hobby aspect. It was fun at the time to try and mine with my computer and be a part of a community. At this point its considered an investment but I still wish it could be more like it was in the past.

In some sense I suppose. International transfers give bitcoin the upper hand, but I can push money from my bank to anyone's account for free in the U.S. They also pay back 5 ATM withdraws each month.

Internal transfer are free in majority of countries but if you go for wire transfers then banks will charge you heavily in compare to bitcoins.
