If i have to invest 300 usd. Which alt coins would you suggest ?

If I would do something like that, I would suggest working with BCN.  I currently mine on a small time basis, when my computer is not being worked on, and it always seems to go up and down in short spurts.  If you are into it when Halving takes place, I would think that you can make a quick cash out on BCN and make a profit.  Just my personal opinion.  I am not a professional and nothing I say should be taken as a fact or such, I am just telling you what I think.  I am not responsible for any transactions you do.

For altcoin I suggest buying ETH. But I think you want to short-term investments and of course very risky for short-term investments with altcoin. I would suggest to buy bitcoin only for long-term investment. Thank you

I think it is not good for long-term play on altcoins. I even see an example like litecoin, initially has a high price but after several years of falling far enough and hard again increased. better play the short term and do a brisk trade.

This is true cos the samething happen to doge coin. Therefore short term of trade is good

I would suggest investing your money in VeriCoins. I think that the price for this alt coin is going to rise substantially, also you can stake your coins in the wallet and earn interest on your investment the longer you have the wallet program open.

In my opinion its still the best to invest in top 20 altcoin in coinmarketcap because those altcoins are legit.. better to check those altcoin in coinmarketcap it can make you profit if you choose that legit than investing it in ICO's that you didn't know after if the price will increase or not.

in my view: with 300usd , you should invest Doge coin (50%) because it's so cheap . it will be potential coin for growing highly.
the remain of 300usd you should invest new altcoin ICO or new coins which bring big profits in short term .

in my openion your thinking of trading with your money is right but i think to invest for long term in btc is not a good idea . i think you should wait to down price and then sold it for better profit . currently the rate of bt. are high so wait for down .

I think all investments of alcoins are risky.
Suddenly they rise or fall, without any reasonable explanation (at least to me). So I would not suggest any altcoin.
Maybe an investment into some computer to mine altcoins would be a mor stable solution.
You can mine altcoins, sell those, and if the price dropps, you can always switch to another altcoin that is more promising.

short term investments have more risk compare to long terms and also short term investments are quite hard since you would need  to effort and put  up enough time so that you would achieve profits  in no time but  if youre  not careful enough  on the risk then your money would  also lost in a short period of time.

Good observation. i realize your experience telling you, but in my thinking always best bitcoin. Because bitcoin is very strong crypto currency, but if we want increase our profit than definitely altcoin trading is best way.

I will go the opposite way as suggested by the poster above you, I will always choose bitcoin for long term investment because I believe it will be a successful digital currency in the future, my principle is I do not invest in altcoin for long term because none of them will last and they are only good for short term investment.

Right now it looks like etherium and monero are doing well. It's hard to tell if they will last because so many coins look good for a few months or years and then just fade away. I stay with the more popular ones and keep most of my money in bitcoin.
