If we want to play gambling means 5 to 10$ is not enough to play one week. But for learning this is good amount. the OP is newbie in gambling so he want learn something basic strategy in gambling before playing any game. Stay away from gambling is not a must actually because if you can control it will be fine, although you are an addicted so i would say gambling is not that worth that you need to stay away. Experience people only make money from sports or may be poker games but for other games you dont need some experience, you just need to have some luck and then BOOM you earn a lot of money then. So any strategy will not really work on gambling just some luck
